HOW TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR LOVED ONES THAT HAVE PASSED.

People ask me all the time about "how do you know if a place is haunted?"  "Can I still contact my loved one"?  First, let me say YES you can!!!  They are always around you so you don't have to be in a certain place or it doesn't only have to be at night.

But for some people, they want PROOF or at least get some kind of sign that their loved ones are still around.  I understand this because if you get sign or in some way communicate with them YOU feel better.  Right?  I am going to tell you a couple of inexpensive ways to communicate with someone that has pasted.  Very easy stuff.  You have to talk to THEM like they are still living.  Lets say you wanted to communicate with a grandfather that had passed away.  You can ask him to move an object such as a pair of glasses.  Before you go to bed put the glasses in a certain spot and very lightly sprinkle baby power around the glasses.  Make sure they are in a location out of the vents for the AC or heater and shut the door the room where no one can go in until morning.  Then in the morning, check to see if there are any marks in the baby power that would indicate movement.  Hopefully will you will be able to see if the glasses have moved at all.  And remember, it doesn't mean the glasses had to move SEVERAL inches, just a little so that you can see the baby powder is disturbed.

You could also ask them to move a picture.  Make sure the picture is straight and ask them to title the corner of the picture.  Again, make sure no one would be going near the picture overnight.  And the next morning if the picture is titled......well say "hello to Granny". lol

Another way, of course, is pictures.  When you are alone or their is not a lot of traffic, pets or things that might stir up dust, go from room to room and ask if you loved ones are around could they please show themselves.  If you are using a digital camera make sure it is at least a 7.2megapixels or higher.  The "old timey" Polaroid camera's that shoot out an instant picture is the most undisputed evidence camera you can have as for as pictures.  Digital camera's can be photo shopped so easy and you can't photo shop an instant pictures.  What you are looking for here is orbs......small round balls of light or if your lucky your loved one can manifest in a "mist" form or something that looks like "fog".  This is what you are looking for in your photos.  Now, you may not be able to see them at the time you take the picture with the naked eye, but go back and review your pictures and hopefully you will find what you are looking for.

DOWSING RODS-WHO NEEDS FANCY EQUIPMENT TO FIND GHOST??? RE-POST

Hi everyone!!!  I am back from vacation and I missed you guys!!!  I am working on a really cool video to share with you guys of a residential investigation.  But in the mean time, someone ask me to repost about dowsing rods.  Hope you guys had a great holiday last week and now it's back to business. :)


The art of dowsing has been around for centuries, perhaps even thousands of years. It is the oldest form of divination known to man and has been used for a variety of different reasons, including searches for underground water, discovering the location of unmarked graves, determining the sex of unborn children and even locating ghosts.

How dowsing actually works remains a mystery, but it has proven to be uncannily accurate over the years. Even the American Society of Dowsers admits that “the reasons the procedures work are entirely unknown.”
 

The standard practice of dowsing is to search for underground water sources.  No one knows how this works, it simply does.  I work for a water dept. and with all the MODERN DAY equipment to locate water lines, the one my company still RELIES on the most....is you guessed it...dowsing rods.  I am just amazed sometimes when I watch the guys walk over a water source and the rods just cross!!!! 

 

To use dowsing rods to find ghosts, most dowsers recommend using two L-shaped rods that have been made from brass or some lightweight metal. Hold the short end of the rod so that the longer piece points outward, away from your body. The rods should be held loosely so that they have room to swing easily back and forth.
 

After that, begin searching the building or location. It has been suggested that it’s possible that by searching, and by concentrating on what you are looking for, you can find ghosts, anomalous energy and some say even dimensional portals, using dowsing rods.

Walk about the location and follow where the rods lead you. They are supposed to point in the direction of any energy they detect. Once you have discovered the energy source, the rods will cross, signaling that the area in question has been found.

 

I have used and continue to use dowsing rods in my investigations.  You don't need a lot of FANCY EQUIPMENT to find ghosts, just a set of dowsing rods and they are very inexpensive. 

 

Above is a video of my daughter using a set of dowsing rods for the very first time.  What impresses me about this clip, is that the wind was blowing pretty hard that day, so the rods SHOULD not have been able to move AGAINST the strong wind BUT THEY DID!!!!!!!!!!!!!  You can see the surprise look on my daughters face when they do.  This video was taken at South Padre Island, Tx at a haunted light house.  I just had to stop by on the way home.  One more thing you will notice, it is NOT at night!!!  It was early morning and we were having great communication as you will see.

 

OK......I know.  It looks like Dowsing Rods could easily be manipulated by the person holding the rods, but until you use them, you won't understand that WE are NOT manipulating them at all!!!!!  They are a favorite tool of mine to use when ghost hunting....so give them a try!

Thought I would share this link with you guys.  I am a big supporter of Ghost Hunters.  I love the TAPS team!!!  The paranormal is just so interesting to so many people, and to me.....that's a good thing!!!! It just means that more people are paying attention than a while back when people used to say "there was no such thing as ghost"!!!!

THE FUNNY THING IS..........(GHOST HUNTING DOES HAVE A LIGHTER SIDE)

It's pitch black, and your not exactly sure where you are, but you know your in the basement of a haunted house.  You were VOTED (ok because know one else would) by your team to "GO FIRST" into this dark and unknown place.  All you have to see with is a small flashlight......but you "suck it up and put your "big girl" panties on"...... and lead your team into the unknown.  As you walk slowly......listening to every sound around you........your heart beating out of your chest...........and lets not forget..... trying to look COOL ........but suddenly you think you see SOMETHING......so you STOP dead in your tracks!!!!! All the SUDDEN it feels as if someone has just TOUCHED THE BACK OF YOUR LEG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  You can't help it....brave or no brave.....you SCREAM!!!!!!! Not knowing if it is something EEEEVVVVIIILLLLLL or LORD ONLY KNOWS WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now, you've gone and DONE IT........the DOMINO effect takes place.  Everyone behind you (looking for you to be the BRAVE MIGHTY LEADER) suddenly SCREAMS and the CHAOS begins!!!!!! People screaming........dropping any and every piece of equipment known to man......bumping into each other...........losing shoes.....and basically EVERY MAN FOR HIMSELF!!!!! Isn't it funny......how when one person screams..............then EVERYONE wants to "GO FIRST"!!!!!!! LOL  Finally, you take a minute because everyone else has left you "in the dust".......you realize that it was ONLY the strap that you forgot to fasten on your backpack that hit your leg!!!!!  MAN what a RELIEF!!!  And now the embarrassment sets in.   HHHUUUMMM do I tell them what happened...... or just go with the old line "something's are better left unsaid???" HHUUUMMMM 

We have all been there......scared but don't want to show it.  There is SUCH an intense concentration when you are ghost hunting.....things are BOUND to go wrong.  The good thing is, for the most part, you can usually have a GOOD LAUGH when they do!!!

You have to have a little fun when you do what we do.  Yes, you have to be serious, but at the same time, have fun.  Now, let me be clear here....I am not encouraging "horse play" or "trying" to scare someone when on an investigation......but hey....like the ol' saying....."if you can't laugh at yourself..........someone ELSE will.......lol........ok..... that's NOT exactly how that saying goes, I just made that up. LOL I think it really goes something like this......"if you can't laugh at yourself....then WHO CAN you laugh at?"

Below is one of my FAVORITE all time funny stories......and you JUST HAD TO BE THERE....to get the full effect of the story......enjoy.......and hey....send me your funny stories.....I would LOVE to know I'm not the ONLY one out there that has been SPOOKED by nothing more than a backpack strap.....:)

Several years ago, a friend and I went to Salem Mass.  This was his first time to "officially" go ghost hunting with me.  Below is a picture of...lets call him Steve.  I can't give you his real name and besides he has know idea that I am going to tell this story.  So  ssshhhh it's our secret.



But as you can see....he is no "wimpy" little guy. Ok back to the story.  So we had gone to Salem one evening and did a walking tour that told us all about the Great Witch Trial in Salem, Mass.  In their story, they told us of the beliefs that once a witch died.... she would return as a "black cat" and could haunt people.  And to this day, many in Salem believe a "black cat" is the spirit of a  decreased WITCH!!!  Well, Steve is listening intensely to every word (as I was) and soon the tour was over.

So, Steve and I decided to go do some investigating on our own.  We went to an "old jail house" that had been abandon for years. (Sorry, I don't know the name, we just ran across it).

 

 It was in October and it had to be 30 below 0!!!!  Ok...maybe NOT 30 below but it was freezing!!!!!!!  We had rented a car when we found the old jail.  So I asked Steve to get out and go take some pics for me because I couldn't STAND the cold.  Being the "BIG BRAVE MANLY MAN" he is.........he said "sure I'll get out and take some pictures for you".  Again, it is very late into the night and we are all alone at this "Creepy old abandon jailhouse".  I am sitting in the car, just enjoying the heater when all of the sudden......I hear SCREAMING  and I don't mean JUST a little screaming.......BLOOD CURDLING SCREAMING and Steve jumps OVER a bunch of bushes....and comes running back to the car, all flushed and out of breath!!!!He jumped in the car and he can't even speak! His entire body completely trembling!!! I thought something BAD had happened.  I was like "whats wrong.....whats wrong??????"  he said, "OH MY GOD!!!!!! There is a BLACK CAT out there that just walked out of the weeds!!!!!!"  I was thinking soooooooo.........WHAT ELSE?????.. then he said "you know...it MUST BE A WITCH!!! I don't want ANY PART of WITCHES!!!!!!" I laughed so hard I thought I would die!!!!!  He was scared to death!!! His first time out......and WHAT HAPPENS......A WITCH GETS HIM!!!!!!! I'm still laughing as I write this!!!  The thought of this "Big Bad" guy running as fast as he could to get to the car because he THOUGHT a WITCH WAS AFTER HIM!!!  Needless to say, that was his FIRST and LAST time to ever go GHOST HUNTING with me. LOL

 

But just between me and you.....and don't ever tell Steve....I think he may have "picked up" a little something from there maybe NOT a witch but "someone or something".LOL

YOU WANTED PARANORMAL ACTIVITY...YOU GOT IT!!! SKINNER CEMETERY

The Skinner Cemetery-The First known to be buried here was Josiah Taylor in 1858  and the  Last person to be buried in Skinner Cemetery was Joe Mylo Phipps,  Apr 27, 1928.

Let me tell you, this place is AWESOME!!!! We kinda' stumbled upon this great little cemetery a couple months ago while trying to find another one.  You know me...I believe in SIGNS.....so I think we weren't suppose to find the OTHER cemetery we were looking for because we were MEANT to find this one!!!!

We walked around taking pictures and had a digital recorder with us.  We got some great EVP's.  We got a Class A EVP of a lady's voice answering a direct question from me.  I asked, "so I know there is a geocache(I'll explain what that is another time, but it is a travel game of sorts) anyway, I asked "Can you tell me where the geocache is?" And immediately.......I got a clear response to my question...."What is that"?  Another great EVP was while playing with the ball(you'll see the video) I got a little boy....in a very DEMANDING way, I might add.....saying "Give ME the Ball!!!!!!"  Sorry, I'm still editing the EVP's.

 

 

 Below is a little brief history of the cemetery.

The first recorded burial was that of 5year-old Josiah Taylor in March of 1858; his father, Josiah Sr., died the following July. Predominantly of Anglo-Saxon Protestant descent, most of those buried here came from Kentucky, Virginia, Missouri, Arkansas, and Tennessee. Many were farmers or ranchers. Significant graves include that of J. D. Merchant, Sr., a local businessman who built the first brick building in the area. Also here are several victims of yellow fever, including Prissie and Sarah Wilson, sisters who died within 2 months of one another during the epidemic of 1872 and 1873. Two people named James Graham, born on the same date two years apart, died on the same September day in 1867. Lucinda Skinner, the last charter member of the Pilot Point First Baptist Church, died in 1890. By 1900, there were probably 200 graves in the cemetery. The land was sold by John Skinner to the Skinner Cemetery Association in 1905; the last recorded burial was that of Joe Mylo Phipps, an infant who died in 1928. The Skinner Cemetery remains a vital link to the early settlers of the Pilot Point community. (1998)   

 

Now, the GOOD STUFF!!!!  We were trying to communicate with a 5 year old boy  that was the first to be buried here and was calling him Timothy.(Sorry, we had the name wrong, but didn't seem to matter)  Anyway...we started having really good flashlight communication with the young spirit.  So I asked if he would like to play with a ball.  The flashlight went crazy!!!!!! So I sat a small green ball on top of a brick that was sitting up on top of a grave site that was lined with a brick border.  Anyway, within 5 mins of sitting the ball on the brick and asking that the little boy push it off.......HE DID JUST THAT!!!!!!!  You can hear my reaction of SHOCK because I just wasn't expecting it to happen so soon!  And not only that, we sat the ball back on the brick and asked him to do it again....and you guessed it.....................HE DID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Matter of fact, the way he pushes it the second time....it's like he pushes it off.....then catches it....because in the video you will see how the ball rolls backwards THEN forward....like he caught it and rolled it back!!!

 

And before you even ask.....NO there was NO wind at all!!! Not even a breeze! It was even a eerily calm night.  I can tell you after the second time, the ball NEVER moved again the whole night!
