SIGNS THAT YOU MAY HAVE A DEMONIC ENTITY IN YOUR HOME

Now, there are lots of different reasons you could have bad things start to happen to you in your home or to people around you. Let's try and rule out what really may be cause for a greater concern.

Generally, before repression, oppression, and/or possession occurs, a demonic entity will infest a location.  There are specific signs of a demonic infestation or haunting, and many of them mimic an intelligent haunting of a spirit that was once in human form.  This is why it's sometimes so difficult, even for seasoned paranormal investigators, to distinguish between a ghost or spirit and a demon. 

First, there are CHANGES IN YOUR HOME.  This is one of the signs of a traditional or intelligent haunting that could also be a demonic haunting.  A person might have electrical or battery-operated appliances or gadget that begin to operate on their own.  For example, the lights may turn on and off, the TV blares it when was turned off, blender or maybe even the water comes on by itself.

All of the sudden, you may see a plate or a dish fly across the room with no explanation.  This can be extremely frightening!  You may also notice things aren't in the same place you left them.  Doors open and close on their own. 

You may experience all of these things.  If you are trying to figure out what is going on.....it is VERY important to start writing them down.  Journal all the activity.  It will help if you have to call in help.

Next, NOISES.  Strange sounds, like dragging, banging, raps or things falling and breaking but when you go to check their is nothing out of place.

You may even hear your name being called out, but BE CAREFUL here!!!  Demons will often mimic a deceased loved one in order to gain your trust and be more accepting of its presence.  But it is also, important to look at all the paranormal activity in the location as well as how the behavior of the living people in the home may have changed since the activity started.

SMELLS.  That's right! Smells.  Smells play a huge part in hauntings  and demonic infestation.  Although you may smells that you recognize like cigar or cigarette smoke, perfume, in a demonic presence, you will smell things you haven't smelt before and they are usually NOT pleasant.  A smell like sulfur or "something rotting" may be noticed.

CHANGES IN THE AIR.  You know....the air seems "heavy" or "oppressive".  It just seems harder to breath...like something heavy is on your chest.  If you start to feel this way, usually leaving the location should help.

EMOTIONAL CHANGES.  People who have come into direct contact with a demon called the experience changes in their moods and emotions.  Demons feed off negative energy, so the changes in someones moods that is normally a "happy" person could be something more than "just having a bad day".  But let me say....that when someone is in a "bad mood" I think it would be BEST NOT TO SAY....your just possessed by a demon!!!!!  LOL  Now, you could REALLY stir things up.

PHYSICAL COMPLICATIONS.  A person who resides in a home where a demonic entity is present could experience a wide variety of physical symptoms or illnesses that cannot be linked to a specific ailment.  But please always, consult your dr. if you are not feeling well.

Sometimes, people may experience bruises, headaches, vomiting and other types of physiological conditions for which the medical profession is not able to find  a logical explanation.  Sleep issues, such as nightmares maybe a way for the demon to wear a person down physically and emotionally to make their victim more vulnerable to their influence and make their prey easier to control.

PHYSICAL HARM.  Demonic entities can be very violent in nature and won't hesitate to attack.  Besides the scratching and bruising that can take place, victims of a demon have reported having their hair pulled, or having been pushed or pulled to the point that they have fallen and become injured, sometimes seriously, specially if a flight of stairs is involved.

CHANGES IN ANIMAL BEHAVIOR.  One of the main signs of a demonic entity is when your pets, especially a cat or a dog, start to display behavior that is erratic or uncharacteristic.  Now, don't confuse this with a "visit from a loved one" that your pets may see that you don't.  They may wage their tails or bark at an empty space, but with a demons presence it is more like growling, backing up, not wagging their tag, and even refusing to enter a particular room.

BECOMING WITHDRAWN.  Generally a demon will target one person in the home as their victim.  This person may start to withdraw and lose interest in activities.  They will become withdrawn from social events and even school or work.

Withdrawing from family and friends is exactly what the demon wants them to do.  That way, the demon can isolate their victim to gain control over them. 

If you suspect you or one of your family members are experiencing a demonic infestation, you should seek help from a paranormal professional or a member of clergy who has experience dealing with demonic entities.

It is really easy to read and understand.

WHY DO SPIRITS ATTACH? SOME OF THE REASONS MAY SURPRISE YOU-EVEN SCARE YOU!!!

 Have you ever really thought about WHY spirits attach themselves to you?  Well guess what?  It may not be what you are thinking...Spirits don't always attach themselves to you to scare or harm you like so many times you see on TV.  I read a book called Dark Angels by Rita Louise, PhD and I loved some of the reasons she listed.  Some I had not even thought of.  I know that comes as a surprise to you....because you thought I knew everything about ghost hunting...right......WRONG!!!! LOL  Anyway, let's talk about some of the reasons that a spirit may become attached.

Spirits attach to us for a number of different reasons.  But importantly, spirits attach to us because we open the door and invite them in.  In most cases it is accidental and unintentional on our part.  Most of the time a spirit will attach itself to a child, because the child was sexually molested or experience long-term physical or emotional abuse.

Children are suppose to be protected by the people that take care of them.  In their hurt, pain and solitude, they call out for someone to help.  And who answers?  Well, sometimes a spirit will.

They may totally disassociate from their bodies, leaving the spirit fully in charge.  This may cause the child to act out or this can cause the child to move forward in life without any memories of the offending behaviors they experienced.  Of course, we don't know if the spirit is good or bad do we???

Addictions, especially drug and alcohol abuse are another common reason why spirits attach.  The altered states these substances create within the body can be a calling card inviting entities into the auric field.  When you are intoxicated, we naturally put down our boundaries and drop our guard.  Have you heard ever heard the expression when someone has been drinking a lot "now he or she has liquid courage"?????  Well, guess what....that may be true in more than one way.  This makes it easy for a spirit to attach itself to us.  The spirit want to live vicariously through us.  That's right...one more drink, one more high or another encounter.

Accidental attachments are probably the most common.  Ouija boards, automatic writing, or just calling out "is the ANYONE here" can leave us vulnerable to the unknown. 

Understand that calling out for spirits or even guides when our energy is low....like when your scared, depressed, frightened or sad you can accidentally attract a negative spirit who can ultimately cause more harm than good.  I have always made sure that any member on my team is in good health both physically and mentally before going on an investigation.  If they have had a bad day or feeling sick I don't allow them to go.

Also, many times we forget that spirits may attach themselves for the simple fact that they like you.  That's right.  Think about it.  You are a young child that was killed in a car wreck and don't even realize what has happened to you.  You feel alone and scared and all the sudden someone shows up and ask to talk with you.   They bring you toys and talk softly and tell you they are not here to hurt you but to help.  Now, at the end of the night...do think that you are going to want to let that person go???  Of course not!  You are going to want to go wherever they go.

I can tell you....personally, I believe I have had an actual attachment for the last reason I listed.  When I first started going out to the Goatman's Bridge in Denton, Tx by myself....long before anyone else besides me had done the research on the spirits that are out at the bridge, I believe that one of the spirits followed me home because I would go out and talk with them on a regular basis  and be very kind and respectful to them.  I would bring them gifts and tell them stories.  I am not sure which spirit it was but I do think it could have been one of the children spirits named Rebecca, age 14,  that I communicated with often and was very fond of and still am to this day.

It wasn't long after that CRAZY THINGS started to happen at my home!  My TV would come on the same time around 3am EVERY NIGHT and I do mean EVERY NIGHT with the volume full blast and nothing but static on the screen.....are you ready for this......EVEN WHEN IT WAS UNPLUGGED!!!!!  Water coming on full blast by itself, alarm system going off without any batteries, my glasses being moved off my bed and placed in the floor in my kitchen and list goes on and on.  I finally had to take a stand and just say out loud that I was staying in the house and not moving and we could live together peacefully or they could leave.  I told them "every night when you turn on the TV I will just get up and turn it right back off but I am tired of that game and don't want to play anymore".  NOT another thing has happened in my home from that point on!  Nothing.

The thing is everyone.....please be careful and unless you know EXACTLY who it is you are wanting to communicate with be prepared for attachments.  Not every time...but you never know when.

I want to be sure and wish all the Mothers, Dads that have to fill both shoes and Mothers that are gone but not forgotten...A Happy Mother's Day...and thank you for all that you do!!! :)

NO MEANS NO!!! WHEN TO SAY NO TO THE SPIRITS

Hi everybody!  Welcome to my first post on a Wednesday.  Hope you are all recovering from all the great food of Thanksgiving and getting ready for Christmas!  Man....I am meeting myself coming and going....and going and coming!  No one can ever say I don't live life to the fullest.  But you know every now and then I would take "half of fullest" LOL

Ok.....lets get to it.  Let's face it...we are ALL curious about what is on the other side.  We are always searching for proof and answers.  I've been doing this long enough to KNOW there IS something beyond this physical life. But sometimes the desire to prove may override our "little voice of reason".

Phenomena can come in many forms....voices, visions, sensations.  We have to be able to validate these messages and what they mean.  Spirit connection is NOT random.  This not a party that everyone comes to and just walks around asking for signs.  You have to KNOW the dangers.  The spirits who come through have SOME connection to you or someone with you.  It's no accident that they communicate with certain people.

Here's the deal...you can't let your curiosity suppress your normal good judgment.  Spirits who show themselves to you or communicate with you have something to say or a REASON for doing so.  Whether your weak, frightened or sometimes "open" to receive.....this could be why a spirit or demons connect to you.

Today, I was talking to a friend on the phone and she was telling me about an investigation that someone was wanting her to do. She was telling me about all the things happening in this clients home.  And let me TELL YOU......it was some CRAZY STUFF!!!!  STUFF like you see on TV and in the movies.  And not the GOOD kind.  Like demonic.

When you are doing what we do.....investigating the paranormal and dealing with spirits.....you have to KNOW that you DO NOT have to say YES to investigate a location.  For ME, and my team.....we make a choice........the choice is we do not investigate locations with EXTREME DEMONIC ACTIVITY.  The reason is.......I believe that you have to be of STRONG, STRONG faith.....now, don't get me wrong....I BELIEVE in GOD and feel I am a spiritual person BUT......I DO NOT KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT DEMONS to protect myself nor am I comfortable taking someone with me to a location that has demonic activity and protecting them.  I am just NOT WILLING TO RISK IT!!! What if I thought I was able to protect them.......and I was WRONG??????

Now, I'll deal with your "everyday ghost" and even the "not so nice" bad ghost but DEMONS......I'm OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I feel you have to be someone like a priest, or someone that is declared HOLY to understand and know how to handle things like this.

When someone calls me to do an investigation or I am researching a location on my own...I know this sounds strange but I LISTEN to that little voice in my head as well as an immediate feeling about the location.  If I have an immediate reaction that says.....Nooooooo this doesn't feel right I heed the warning!!!!!

When you go into a location, spirits or demons can cause REAL harm if you do not know what you are doing or how to protect yourself.  It's like this.......I wouldn't ask you to pick up a snake unless you were a snake handler or a professional.  You could get hurt or even die if the snake was poisonous.....and here's the deal....you don't know enough about snakes to tell if it IS poisonous or not.  Anyway, you get the point.

So.....long story short........Say NO to a location if you have any doubts about WHAT you are up against!!!!  So many people see the TV shows and think how fun.....and trilling it would to see a ghost!  The problem is what does the GHOST think when it sees you.......friend or victim????  
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         

THE ADOLPHUS HOTEL-MY PERSONAL APPARITION MAID!!!

Well, I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines Day.  Man, I sure did.  And I can't wait to share with you guys what happened on my Valentines Day surprise!

First, my boyfriend (Deak) and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner and then he surprised me with a nights stay at the haunted Adolphus Hotel in Dallas, Tx.  I was so surprised and EXCITED!!!  The Adolphus Hotel has been reportedly haunted for years.  I'll tell you more about it in a little while.

First, this hotel is downtown Dallas and has had some VERY prestigious people stay here.....presidents, the QUEEN (yes THAT QUEEN...Elizabeth), many actors and movie stars.  It is just a beautiful place and with its elegant décor takes you a step back in time.  Made me just want to put on a 20's dress and set down in the lobby for teaaaaaa..(my hand is in the air and my pinky finger is extended even though you can't see it, I think you get the idea)


Ok, now about my night.  You ARE NOT going to believe it!!!  When Deak and I arrived, it was Saturday night and the night before Valentines Day so there were lots of people at the hotel.  We checked in and decided to walk around and check out the lobby area.  There was a beautiful little antique bar so we ordered a couple of drinks and took them with us as we walked around by ourselves.  We went into this GORGEOUS restaurant called the French Room just as it was closing.  The waiters were very nice and let us in to take a few pictures before closing for the night.  There were angels all on the top of the cathedral ceiling that I could have just starred at all night long.  There was just such a peaceful feeling in this room.  I loved it!!!

There are tons of beautiful giant paintings hanging on the walls in the lobby. Also, palm trees and plants everywhere which I love!!!  Tons of couches and little seating areas that are so quaint and cozy all in different colors and patterns of mostly deep, dark blues and tans. The lobby has rich, dark wood walls and pillars. A very relaxing place to say the least.

After about an hour, Deak and I decided to head to our room. We were in room 808 on the 8th floor.  As we were walking up to our room I said to Deak, "I wish I had known which hotel we were coming to so I could have done some research on it and found out about what spirits are reported lingering around.  I have always heard the Adolphus was haunted but at the time couldn't remember any of the claims..

Now, I have been suffering from sciatic nerve problems in my hip and my leg (very painful if you have ever experienced it, but seems to be fairly common) so sleeping is very difficult for me right now.  So to turn over I almost always have to wake up and kinda sit up to turn over.  Don't ya'll feel sorry for me......sad face ;(  LOL  

Now, I have been investigating the paranormal for over 34 years and I have ONLY seen one full bodied apparition in all these years.  It's not like on TV where you see an apparition every time you go ghost hunting.  Now, I have seen shadows.......mist.......orbs......you name it but I pride myself on not saying everything I see is a ghost or apparition. Actually, SEEING an apparition is very rare.  Anyway, back to my story.....

It was about 5:30am in the morning, and my hip was hurting me so I was trying to sit up and turn over.  As I raised my head up I glanced at the clock sitting on the night stand that said 5:30am.  I braced myself with my arms and sat up to turn over.....and as I did.........I looked at the foot of the bed and saw..............ARE YOU READY.......I saw an older lady in a white apron like dress....I assume it was a dress I could only see the upper half of her body because we had a couch that was at the foot of the bed and she was standing behind it.  OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AM I REALLY SEEING A LADY STANDING AT THE FOOT OF THE BED.........I closed my eyes and  then opened them again ..........and THERE SHE WAS.....her hands folded in the middle of her chest almost like if she was holding flowers (without the flowers).  I could see she had white hair pulled behind her ears like in a lose "bun" hairdo.(Guys if you don't know what a BUN is, just ask your wife or girlfriend)  I could also see her eyes and her facial expression was that of hhhuummm ....the "I'm watching you look".  Know that look???  One eyebrow cocked just a little higher than the other.  And she did have that white glowing light around her just like you see on TV.  At least TV gets it right sometimes.

Anyway....I turned my head to wake Deak and when I turned back.....she was GONE!!!  I started telling Deak I just saw a GHOST!!!  He said, that one of the most widely seen spirits was that of a lady in white supposedly the spirit of a bride that hung herself after her future husband left her waiting for him on her wedding day.  I looked at him and said "NO.  This lady was not a young lady nor was she dressed in a wedding dress.  She was old and had what seemed like a maids uniform on!"

Now, I knew we were going to stay in a haunted hotel but didn't know which one. Deak had told me to pick two pieces of equipment to bring so I brought my camera and a parascope.  A parascope lights up with bright colors  when it picks up TriboElectric Fields and follows them Visually.  Tailored for Paranormal Investigation's to detect Fields we cannot see with our eye's such as the hair lifting up from one's arm during an investigation. So, I grabbed the parascope and sat it at the end of the bed where I had seen the lady in white.  I asked, "if I just saw you standing at the end of the bed please light up the parascope so that I can have validation that I really saw you".  And almost instantly it started to light up very, very slowly indicating a spirit presence.  PROOF FOR ME that I had seen her!!!  After that, I started asking questions but it never lite up again!!  What an experience!!!  That was two days ago and I'm still not over it!!!!!   

So, as soon as I got home I tried to research and see if anyone else had reported seeing this older lady.  I only found one site that said there was a maid that died in the hotel after she had a traumatic health issue. Don't know what that means but ok.  And mostly the other reports are of the lady in white that everyone says is the bride that hung herself.  Now, I don't know, but I would definitely say the "LADY IN WHITE" I saw was in a maid uniform.  They are doing a lot of remodeling on the hotel which was built in 1912 and the whole 19th floor is blocked off because of the remodeling.(the 19th is supposedly the most haunted)  Maybe.....just maybe......there are more spirits lingering in this hotel and the remodeling are making them restless.  I don't know....but I DID see a ghost in room 808 and no, I did not feel threatened by her whatsoever........ but I do think she might have been ready for us to get up so that she could make the bed!!!!! LOL  I'm not sure she knows the check out time is 11:00! LOL

So, the next time you visit the Adolphus Hotel.....ask for room 808 and see if YOU have your very own PERSONAL MAID!!!

YORKTOWN MEMORIAL HOSPITAL-THESE WALLS HAVE STORIES OF MURDER, SUICIDE, THE INSANE, AND THE LOST THAT HAVE NEVER FOUND THEIR WAY OUT!!!

After a long drive down...... everyone just wanted to unload their cars and rest for a while before the investigation later that night.  But I couldn't wait!!!  Deak and I unloaded the car and I told him I was going to drive down to the hospital and take a few pictures during the evening before it got dark.  He said, ok...he would get things ready for the investigation later that night so.... off I went. 

Now, Yorktown is not the kind of town that you have busy highways and traffic jams.  It's the kinda place where you find a bit older, a bit worn-down, framed houses....lots of trucks passing on the two-lane highway that is the main street through town.   The place where everyone knows everyone and the BEST place to eat is at the local Valero gas station.  And one of the MOST POPULAR places in town.............Yorktown Memorial Hospital.  Not because of it's famous doctors or well known facility.........but for its GHOSTS!!!  Just ask any local and they are sure to have many stories about the hospital that they are all to happy to share with you.

As I pull up.....and step out of the car.....the sun is starting to set behind the hospital and in the distance I can hear someone mowing the lawn and silence on the highway as this time of day, even the truck traffic has slowed to almost none.  Standing in front of the hospital, I simple say out loud, "hello my friends" as I had visited this place last year and was counting the days until I returned.

 

I walked around the outside of the hospital taking pictures and with a chill....... not knowing if it was the wind....... or maybe it was because I felt like SOMEONE was watching me and I WASN'T ALONE.....I suddenly felt the need to peek inside the windows.  And just between you and me....as I walked up the broken steps of hospital.......I can't lie....with a little bit of hesitation and just as much ANTICIPATION ...... I looked inside.  It did look spooky???? hhuuummm Not really.  But it did have the FEEL of a place that held many stories......and stories I couldn't wait to hear!!!!

 

 

I stop and think to myself about all the tragic events that took place here.   A double murder, 2000 patients dying, numerous suicides, unbelievable accidents, and countless souls who remain looking for answers.   Can I help?  Can I provide them with the answers they seek?  I'm not sure, but the one THING I can offer them.....is sympathy.  That my heart aches for them. But lets also be clear.....I am a little scared of them....LOL  Especially those with a BAD TEMPER!!! LOL

 

Well, time to get back in the car and head back to the hotel to get ready for the investigation.  By now, it is starting to get dark and everyone is going to be getting excited about going on our ghost hunt tonight!!!

You know that FEELING that I had that I WASN'T alone......seems I wasn't!!!!  Sitting way up on the top of the hospital watching my every move was a great, big BUZZARD!!!!  NOW THAT'S SCARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Birds that eat dead things......yyyuuuccckkk!!!!!!!!! Is this just some weird sign of things to come....

  We have a good group headed in for the night.  Several of us from last year returned this year hoping for the same amazing experience with the paranormal.  Mike and Terri Fairfield, Tammy Hightower, Calisa Anderson, and MY favorite person and boyfriend Craig Deacon (Deak).  We did have some new people with us this trip.....Jeromy and Pam Jones of Paranologies and one of their friends(sorry can't remember his name).  But our other new visitors who had never been here before was Chris Anderson (Calisa's husband whom we were soooo excited to have him along) and Rebekah Black who is a radio personality on KLUV 98.7 in Dallas.  We were also glad she could come along.

  It's a full moon and we are all packed and ready to go in.  I am looking at the stairs in a different way this time................I am just hoping I can make it up them with my three coats, longjohns under my jeans, three pair of socks, gloves, furry cap, boots and not to mention...the two sweat shirts and an undershirt under them.......oh and did I mention I am carrying two very heavy equipment bags!!!

I kinda looked like the Puft Marshmellow monster in the Ghost Busters moive but this time in black!!!

 

Let's just hope if I start to fall backward SOMEONE will stop me or I'm liable to roll and roll...... right out into the street and become the first "road kill" that that buzzard says....:
"oh man.....I'll pass on that"!!!!!!! lol

Anyway......you guys ready to go inside and see and experience all that we did?
Well......get ready...........and TOMORROW you will go inside with us and see our videos, our pictures and our amazing personal experiences we had.

This is just going to have to broken down into a couple of different parts because of all the evidence I have to share with you.  See you tomorrow....:)
