FAIRIES. IS THIS PROOF THEY REALLY EXIST?

 

 

Do you believe in Fairies????  No.  Not the tooth fairy.  REAL FAIRIES.  Like the ones that live in the forest and flutter around?  Huumm  That is a tough one for me.  I believe in ghosts so why couldn't there be fairies? Right? 

The definition of a Fairy is (also fata, fay, fey, fae, fair folk; from faery, faerie, "realm of the fays") is a type of mythical being or legendary creature in European folklore (and particularly Celtic, Slavic, German, English, and French folklore), a form of spirit, often described as metaphysical, supernatural, or preternatural.   See if the definition of a Fairy it does seem to have a lot to do metaphysical things and you know me, I'm into that! lol

I saw a video on TV the other day and it really peaked my interest in fairies.  I openly admit I do not no much about fairies and have not encountered a one.  But I like the idea of them.  Check out the video below and see what you think?

The Well-Known Pixies

No taller than 6 inches,  the winged pixies can shape-shift the size of their humanoid form as needed. Although they can be very curious, fun-loving creatures, they do have another side. They feel a great responsibility toward other, similar-sized fairies (brownies and gherrings) and often become involved as peacekeepers.
Pixies love flowers and gardens and, like hummingbirds, they love to sip nectar from flowers like honeysuckle. They have a very high metabolism, so they frequently enjoy high energy foods like sweets, milk, and cream.
These hard-working, industrious people live in large colonies designed to ensure their safety. They build their cities high up in trees and magically cloak them, so they are unlikely to be discovered. When encountering danger, they like to face their enemy as a massive cloud of angry pixies, similar to a swarm of bees.
Despite their fierce defensive posture, they are very friendly, kind and helpful to many different types of beings, including humans. Pixies can live to be 100 years old and are ruled by a king or queen.

Trooping Fairies 

Trooping fairies are generally similar in appearance to brownies (see below) and do not have wings. In fact, a brownie we spoke to told us trooping fairies are actually brownies that troop together in long lines. This formation often happens when they are going to war.
Trooping fairies tend to be a bit different from the average brownie. They are more serious, organized and sophisticated in lifestyle compared to the more rustic, and friendly brownie.
To stay out of sight, trooping fairies prefer to travel through the woods where there is a lot of underbrush.  Some people also believe they inhabit trees which are often referred to as “fairy trees.”

Brownies

Brownies are brave, adventurous people that can reach a height of 6 inches tall.  In their world, they are also known as “nims” but are more commonly known as brownies from wearing brown clothing and living close to the earth. They do not have wings but are quite capable of getting to high places when needed, with the help of a bird or one another.  In the wild, brownies live in the woods or high grass where they often build hidden or underground homes.  They do this to protect themselves from beings who are larger and more powerful than they are.
Brownies are very social and prefer to live together in towns or large family groups. They scavenge to survive and spend their days hunting for food, household goods, and other items they can use for trade. When it comes to humans, they are usually friendly with those who are like-minded.

Fauns

With horns on his head,  a human torso and the body of a goat below the waist, the faun is a unique creature. Found in woodland forests, fauns tend to be alluring, seductive and quite compelling. To get what they desire, they often prey upon their unsuspecting victims by using mind control and magic they’ve conjured from their pipes or flute.
According to the elves, if you see a faun, you should avert your eyes because as soon as they have your attention, you are under their control.  They are neutral but can be very dangerous.

Merpeople

Commonly known as mermaids and mermen, those we have spoken with prefer to be known as mer, or merfolk.  Unlike humans, merfolk do not live in structures or houses. They swim together as a family unit but are also part of a larger community united under one ruler. Merfolk spend much of their day together hunting for fish, and other sea creatures to eat. They intentionally have large families because living in the sea is very dangerous and many of their young do not make it to adulthood.
Lately, the mer have been more visible in our world because they are concerned with the overwhelming number of oil spills and pollution that has seeped into their world from our world. They are generally unhappy about this pollution and destruction of their waters and they tend to hold humans wholly responsible. Right now, the point they are trying to communicate to us is that the health of the oceans affects us all.

Leprechauns 

Leprechauns are typically between 2-3 feet tall and are master craftsmen, often specializing in shoemaking. Legends sometimes depict them as loners, but that is not true. Found mainly in Ireland, they live together in villages well-protected by their magic. They have a great love for gold and ale and spend a good deal of time thinking about collecting and enjoying both!
Leprechauns are known to be information brokers, selling information they’ve acquired for a fair price. They have a reputation for being tricksters, but they are generally honest, good-hearted people that have a strong regard for honesty.

Gnomes

Shy and cautious by nature, gnomes seek only the company of their own kind.  At 9 inches tall, they believe their small size makes them vulnerable to bullies and always try to go unnoticed.  Known for their iconic red, pointy caps, they actually wear a variety of different clothing besides that single color and style.
You will find gnomes in most natural areas around the world in small isolated communities. They eat fruit, mushrooms, nuts, root vegetables, eggs, and meat only occasionally. Being deeply connected to nature, they are master healers and are known for healing sick and injured animals.

Grundels 

Frequently found in the homes of larger elves, grundels and elves have a symbiotic relationship. Grundels gladly work in service for the elves in exchange for a safe and happy home.  They are dedicated to their host family of elves and generally stay with the same family for generations, moving with them as necessity dictates.  For their part, elves have great respect and love for grundels and consider them family. Grundels are about 3 feet tall and often wear striped clothing. (Sorry, no picture yet available)

Hobgoblins 

The hobgoblin is a solitary,  dark brown creature who inhabits the forest and lives in trees.  In general, this neutral fairy is a peaceful fellow who enjoys keeping to himself (or herself). He is not usually aggressive unless provoked but he can get especially nasty when his tree is at risk. Since his temper can flare easily, it is wise to try and stay on his good side.

Elves

Elves are a very long-lived race found in many places throughout their world.  Gifted with sharper senses, grace, agility, and perceptions than humans, they excel in the arts and crafts. This also includes the art of magic which they define as the gathering, focusing and directing of natural energy.  In general, elves avoid technology and live close to nature in an idyllic setting, respecting and working with all aspects of nature.
Physically, elves are approximately the same height as humans but slighter in build. Their faces are similar to humans but noticeably different. They have high cheekbones, more angular features, mesmerizing eyes, and the pointed ears so often depicted in books and movies.
Elves belong to two main groups: the Seelie or light elves and the Unseelie or dark elves. In general, the Seelie elves want to work with humans to heal the planet we both share while the Unseelie would prefer to solve their problems by eliminating all of humanity.
The Elves of Fyn, the source of the information on this site, belong to the first group (Seelie) and you can find a bit more information about them here. To be safe, humans should try to avoid contact with the Unseelie altogether.

So, do fairies exist?  I believe they can.  Just like UFO's, ghosts, and Bigfoot there are things we may never be able to prove 100%.   Just like having "hope".  We can't PROVE that "having hope" helps us through life events, but we do it anyway.  So if we can have "hope" why can't we "believe"?

THE LUXOR IN LAS VEGAS IS HAUNTED!!! WHAT HAPPENED TO ME TO MAKE ME A BELIEVER!!!

The Luxor in Las Vegas

Sin City...Las Vegas is full of night life and of course "sins" lol but did you know Las Vegas has a dark side?  No...darker than losing all your money and ending up in a strange room not remembering what you did!!! LOL

I recently took my Mom and daughter to Vegas for a much needed "girls trip".  My Mom had not been there in years and I wanted to take her somewhere fun.  So I booked us a room at the Luxor.  Now, you know me....I'm going to check it out to see if there is anything haunted associated with the hotel and guess what...... there was!!!  But here's the deal.  I couldn't tell my Mom and daughter because I didn't want them to freak out! LOL

First, let me tell you about some of the reported deaths and hauntings connected to the Luxor.  And let me tell you.....there is quite the list!!!!

At 30 stories high there is no other hotel in Las Vegas that stands out quite like the Luxor.  Shaped like a pyramid with the strongest beam of light in the world peering out of the top.  This Egyptian style themed hotel is stunning from the inside as you can see straight up to the top of the pyramid just about from every location due to the shape.

During the construction of the Luxor it was reported that two construction workers died.  And many local suggest as many as seven workers perished during the building of the Luxor.  The treacherous construction process is the most dangerous of all the hotels in Vegas.  Many visitors have reported seeing the fallen workers roaming the Luxor.

In September 1996, just a few years after the Luxor’s opening, a woman jumped from the 26th story of the hotel, falling to her death. Immediately, the woman died from severe head injuries. Per Clark County’s Sgt. Bill Keeton: “it was over very quickly.” Her injuries were so severe that she could not be readily identified, and she carried no identification on her. The woman landed by the old buffet’s entrance, which shortly after her death was completely, thoroughly cleared out and converted into a food court.

There was also another incident where a man fell to his death from the 10th floor.

In May 2007, in the Luxor parking garage, a coffee cup was left atop the car of a 24-year-old Luxor food court employee. When the employee went to remove the cup, the cup exploded. A homemade explosive device was inside the cup. The employee died from shrapnel inside the bomb.

In 2012, an airman from Nellis Air Force Base got into a fight with a colleague in the first-floor lobby of the Luxor’s west tower. The colleague pushed the airman against an elevator door, which then inexplicably opened—despite no elevator compartment being present. The airman fell 25 feet down the empty shaft to the basement level. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Later it was reported that he died of his injuries.

Many feel the Luxor is cursed.  Where the Luxor now sits was once the site of a popular burial ground for mobsters’ victims, as it was, at the time, off the beaten path. As is common knowledge, a property built atop a graveyard never has good fortunes.

Ok...…… now here is our experience at the Luxor.  First we were on the 28th floor(Room 28017 I think?) which there is only the penthouses above us.  It's a little creepy in the elevators because it takes so long and they are very wobbly because of the angle they are going up.  I'm not going to lie, the elevators were scary!!! You just thought the cable would snap at any minute!!!  By the way, we were NOT the only guests that felt this way.

Anyway, on our last day, we were walking around the Luxor and I casually said, "Well I guess I can tell ya'll now....we are staying at a haunted hotel".  My daughter Lindsey just STOPS DEAD IN HER TRACKS and yells "I KNEW IT!!!!!!!!!!!"  I just started laughing and said, "See you would have never known if I hadn't told you.  Nothing happened".  She said, OH NO something DID happen!!!!!!!!  The other night when we were asleep I heard someone walking around and going through our suitcases!!!!!  I said "Oh Lins….you DID not".  She got very serious and said, YES I DID and it was LOUD!!!!!!!!   So loud and plan I was so terrified I couldn't  move or open my eyes!!!  Because I knew we were sleeping together and Nana (my Mom) was in the other bed. MOM IT WAS BAD!!!!!!!! So, here's were it gets good.  My Mom can't hear anything!!!  You have to yell at her for her to be able to hear you and she jumped in and said "I HEARD IT TO"!!!!! 

So, let me lay out the room for you.  We had double beds and my daughter and I were sharing a bed so my Mom could have her own.  We all three had one big suitcase apiece.  So we just laid them on the floor side by side against the wall.  To give us more room.  Lindsey said she could hear someone moving the cloths around and walking to the next suitcase.  My Mom then says, "Yeah, I didn't even open my eyes because I thought one of you must have gotten up and was looking for something in the suitcases.  It was very loud."

OK.....Ya'll.  I thought it might be Lindsey's imagination but when MY MOM said she heard the same thing and SHE can't hear......well I found it pretty cool!!!! :)  My daughters swears SOMEONE was in our ROOM!!!!  She said she thought we were going to die because she was to scared to open her eyes and couldn't scream for help. LOL.  I am still recovering from a ruptured Achilles so I had taken something for pain that helped me sleep.  So maybe that is why I did not hear anything.

Was this someone who had committed suicide here?  Or was it one of the workers that was killed during construction?  I do know that one of the suicides took place on the 26th floor just below us.  Whatever IT was...…..it scared my daughter to death!!!!!!!

So, if you are headed to Vegas, and want a little ghostly action or a break from the slots, ask for room 28017 and go to bed early. Oh...and leave your suitcase open. :)

MCBROOM CEMETERY-YOU WANT CREEPY WELL HERE IT IS!!!!

I thought I would re-post this because I love this cemetery!!!!  And every time I visit it, it stills just sends a little chill down my back.  I it just like looking at a field of coffins!!!  

Anyway, enjoy the post and if you know anything about these kind of "markers" or grave tombs, please I would love to know more about them.

So, I need your help.  I went to visit my brother in Arkansas this past weekend and we did a little ghost hunting around where he lives in Kingston, Arkansas.  We came across the Mc Broom Cemetery that sits up on a hill all by itself.

In all the years of investigating cemeteries, I have not ever ran across one like this.  It had several grave markers that were shaped like coffins.  Some little, some big, facing all different directions. The earliest settlers had their feet pointing toward the east and the head of the coffin toward the west, ready to rise up and face the "new day" (the sun) when "the trumpet shall sound and the dead shall be raised" or when Christ would appear and they would be reborn.  So, I really don't understand the way these people were laid to rest. hhuummm  I really feel the coffin markers are the actual size of the casket and the body inside...that was laid to rest beneath them because the baby's were very small and the adults larger.

I am very curious about these "coffin" shaped tombstones.  The best I can find out is that back in the 1700's the stone coffin marker was set on top of the actual casket. I wish I could read the dates on the tombstones, but they had all eroded over time.  I just think it is odd that I have been in some really old cemeteries and NONE of them had these kind of tombstones. 

If you know anything about these coffin shaped tombstones I would LOVE to know about them.  I posted several pics of this really "cool" cemetery.

RE-POST -THE VERY HAUNTED SKINNER CEMETERY-SEE WHAT I CAUGHT ON FILM!!!!

This is an old cemetery that we just found by chance out driving around one day in Pilot Point, Tx.    It's not very big and a little run down but definitely old!   I know it's weird to describe a cemetery as "charming" but it was.  The headstones you can tell are old.  Some are broken, some have fallen over completely and here's the REAL CREEPY PART!!!!!  There are big holes where the dogs or some other animal has been digging up the grave!!!!  I know......RIGHT!!!!!  A couple of them appeared to have the casket showing.  So if you are going at night be careful not to fall in a "hole".  CREEPY!!!

And let me tell you...it was FULL of paranormal activity!!!


On this night we communicated with a young spirit we were calling Timothy but later learned his name is Josiah Taylor. He is the first person or should I say child to be buried here.

It was a slow night and I was setting up the video recorder as everyone else was walking around just taking pictures.  We were getting some really cool pictures of orbs btw.  Then just as we started recording, about 4 minutes in....well.....just watch the video. :)

On this night, there was not even a breeze blowing.  It was eerily calm.  We brought a ball and asked if Timothy would like to play with it....and you can see that HE DID!!!!!!!!!  You can hear the excitement in my voice as I didn't expect to have such activity right off the bat!!!  You'll notice, that the first time the ball rolls, it rolls to the left.  Ok...if there WAS a breeze (which there again, there was not even the slightest breeze blowing) let chalk it up to the wind although the ball rolls in two different directions.  The second time, Timothy rolls the ball....he actually pushes it off the brick...and it appears to roll backward and then rolls forward  It looks like he caught it and rolls it back.  And not only that, THIS TIME it is in a completely DIFFERENT DIRECTION!!!!!!!!  I can tell you, being there and experiencing it first hand was AMAZING!!!!!  And I can't WAIT to go back!!!!

SIGNS THAT YOU MAY HAVE A DEMONIC ENTITY IN YOUR HOME

Now, there are lots of different reasons you could have bad things start to happen to you in your home or to people around you. Let's try and rule out what really may be cause for a greater concern.

Generally, before repression, oppression, and/or possession occurs, a demonic entity will infest a location.  There are specific signs of a demonic infestation or haunting, and many of them mimic an intelligent haunting of a spirit that was once in human form.  This is why it's sometimes so difficult, even for seasoned paranormal investigators, to distinguish between a ghost or spirit and a demon. 

First, there are CHANGES IN YOUR HOME.  This is one of the signs of a traditional or intelligent haunting that could also be a demonic haunting.  A person might have electrical or battery-operated appliances or gadget that begin to operate on their own.  For example, the lights may turn on and off, the TV blares it when was turned off, blender or maybe even the water comes on by itself.

All of the sudden, you may see a plate or a dish fly across the room with no explanation.  This can be extremely frightening!  You may also notice things aren't in the same place you left them.  Doors open and close on their own. 

You may experience all of these things.  If you are trying to figure out what is going on.....it is VERY important to start writing them down.  Journal all the activity.  It will help if you have to call in help.

Next, NOISES.  Strange sounds, like dragging, banging, raps or things falling and breaking but when you go to check their is nothing out of place.

You may even hear your name being called out, but BE CAREFUL here!!!  Demons will often mimic a deceased loved one in order to gain your trust and be more accepting of its presence.  But it is also, important to look at all the paranormal activity in the location as well as how the behavior of the living people in the home may have changed since the activity started.

SMELLS.  That's right! Smells.  Smells play a huge part in hauntings  and demonic infestation.  Although you may smells that you recognize like cigar or cigarette smoke, perfume, in a demonic presence, you will smell things you haven't smelt before and they are usually NOT pleasant.  A smell like sulfur or "something rotting" may be noticed.

CHANGES IN THE AIR.  You know....the air seems "heavy" or "oppressive".  It just seems harder to breath...like something heavy is on your chest.  If you start to feel this way, usually leaving the location should help.

EMOTIONAL CHANGES.  People who have come into direct contact with a demon called the experience changes in their moods and emotions.  Demons feed off negative energy, so the changes in someones moods that is normally a "happy" person could be something more than "just having a bad day".  But let me say....that when someone is in a "bad mood" I think it would be BEST NOT TO SAY....your just possessed by a demon!!!!!  LOL  Now, you could REALLY stir things up.

PHYSICAL COMPLICATIONS.  A person who resides in a home where a demonic entity is present could experience a wide variety of physical symptoms or illnesses that cannot be linked to a specific ailment.  But please always, consult your dr. if you are not feeling well.

Sometimes, people may experience bruises, headaches, vomiting and other types of physiological conditions for which the medical profession is not able to find  a logical explanation.  Sleep issues, such as nightmares maybe a way for the demon to wear a person down physically and emotionally to make their victim more vulnerable to their influence and make their prey easier to control.

PHYSICAL HARM.  Demonic entities can be very violent in nature and won't hesitate to attack.  Besides the scratching and bruising that can take place, victims of a demon have reported having their hair pulled, or having been pushed or pulled to the point that they have fallen and become injured, sometimes seriously, specially if a flight of stairs is involved.

CHANGES IN ANIMAL BEHAVIOR.  One of the main signs of a demonic entity is when your pets, especially a cat or a dog, start to display behavior that is erratic or uncharacteristic.  Now, don't confuse this with a "visit from a loved one" that your pets may see that you don't.  They may wage their tails or bark at an empty space, but with a demons presence it is more like growling, backing up, not wagging their tag, and even refusing to enter a particular room.

BECOMING WITHDRAWN.  Generally a demon will target one person in the home as their victim.  This person may start to withdraw and lose interest in activities.  They will become withdrawn from social events and even school or work.

Withdrawing from family and friends is exactly what the demon wants them to do.  That way, the demon can isolate their victim to gain control over them. 

If you suspect you or one of your family members are experiencing a demonic infestation, you should seek help from a paranormal professional or a member of clergy who has experience dealing with demonic entities.

SIGNS FROM YOUR LOVED ONES-DO YOU NEED ONE???

Well, it's getting to be that time of year where people really start to miss their loved ones.  And especially those who have passed.  What is it about Christmas that makes us feel "extra" lonely or "extra" sad?  It is the thought of families coming together for food and fun and we feel like our families aren't complete because of the death of a loved one?

It's at times like these that we REALLY NEED a sign from our loved ones that "some how.....some way" they can still see us or connect with us.  So lets talk about that.

First, you need to know that your loved ones are always with you.  Let me say that again....YOUR LOVED ONES ARE ALWAYS WITH YOU!!!!  You are never alone and can talk to them anytime!
But yet, for some of us......we LONG for a sign...any little thing that would validate to us that they are still near.  Our family and friends actually communicate with us all the time, it's just we have to SEE it.  We may find something "out of place", hear a song, hear a voice or maybe even "feel" them touch us, but we chalk it up to coincidence.  Look, love is the energy that connects our physical world with the spirit world.  Signs are all around you.....just look.

There are many ways we can contact and communicate with spirits.  First of all, you have to ASK for a sign.  Ask your loved one to do something that you will know beyond a doubt that it is them sending you a message.  Look try this.  Sounds silly, but it is an easy way for our loved ones to send you a message.  Pick a song, a song that maybe was your favorite and ask that you hear it on a particular day...like....Please, I want to hear Love Me Tender by Elvis and I want to hear it tomorrow. And see what happens.  My money is on.....you'll hear the song!!!!

It can be something simple like a favorite picture on the wall and ask that your loved one tilt it for you.  Give it a couple days, and see what happens.  Also, ask to find a penny, dime, a quarter...some kind of coin.  Be sure to pay attention where you find it though, because more than likely it has a meaning.

So, a quick story about someone who found a "penny" and beyond a shadow of a doubt now knows it was from her departed husband.  So, out of the blue....I felt a very strong feeling to call a lady that I had done an investigation for and we had gotten evidence that her deceased husband was there.  I had not spoken with her in a few months but texted her and just said "hey, just had you on my mind".  She was super excited to hear from me, which made me feel good. Now, let me just be clear...I don't claim to be psychic but I think after talking to the dead all the time, I have developed a bit of psychic ability....which we all have by the way.  Anyway, she asked me "Becky do you feel anything today?  Anything to do with my husband?"  First, I was a little confused because I didn't, I really did not FEEL anything other than....I just knew I wanted to get in touch with her.  I am going to change the real names and use Beth as the lady and John as her husband just to make it easier.

I said, "Beth not really, why?"  My mouth dropped when she told me "today is mine and John's anniversary".  Man!!!  I did not know that!!!  That really made me feel CONNECTED to Beth like there was something ELSE (besides calling her) that I needed to do.  She ask me "Are you picking up on anything".  So I told her Beth I'm not psychic but I will try.  So, I got very quite and tried to concentrate  and ask her to send me a picture of John so I could see him and she did.  I know it sounds crazy but I just started hearing him.  He told me to tell her "the picture was for her".  I didn't know WHAT picture he was talking about BUT she did.  She said her granddaughter was doing a project and came across a picture of John that Beth had not seen before.  But he was very happy in the picture which made her feel good and smile.

Ok...here's where it gets good!!! I kept hearing "TELL HER ABOUT THE PENNY!!!!  YOU HAVE TO MENTION THE PENNY!!!!!   And in my head I am thinking...penny????  What kind of message is that???  Don't you want to tell her you love and miss her????  LOUD AND CLEAR.....I heard...almost in a bossy way......THE PENNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Ok.....Ok....Ok... I finally thought.  So in my most sympathetic voice....because Beth obviously was very sad on this her anniversary date.  I said "Beth, I am sorry.....but I keep hearing Ask her about the penny????"  "I don't know what that means but maybe you will."  It was COMPLETE SILENCE on the other end of the line.  Now, I'm thinking....what happened.....why is Beth not talking.  Finally, I heard her sobbing!!!!  I said "Beth are you ok?"  And she said in an ever so softly voice....I know EXACTLY what that means.....and it makes me SO HAPPY and it is exactly what I needed to know that John was with me".

Then she went on to say that she had moved from her and John's home into another house.  She had packed up the kitchen stuff herself and boxed them up.  A couple of weeks ago, when she was unpacking....she opened a box that had some large bowls in it.  And in the center of one of the bowls was a penny.  She said she had NO IDEA where it came from or how it got in the box.  She had packed it herself and there was no penny in it.

Anyway, it was a great day for the both of us.....I was able to help Beth and she was so grateful with her sign.

Ok....anyway, back to other signs.  Ask that you find a feather, ask that you see a rainbow, ask your loved one to visit you in your dreams.....just something that you could connect with.  Here's the deal.  First you have to ASK...then you have to HAVE FAITH, BE PATIENT, NOTICE THE SIGNS and most of all.....be sure to THANK them for the sign or communication.

Look....I know sometimes we can't help but be sad and lonely over the loss of a loved one....and that's what is suppose to happen during the grieving process and sometimes long after.  But if your struggling with RECEIVING a sign....why not GIVE a sign.  That's right...it is the season for GIVING AND RECEIVING right?  So, put up a special ornament in your love ones name, make them their favorite dish, plant a tree or maybe.......maybe.........just SMILE and say I love You out loud.  I think you will be surprised how good it will make you feel to remember someone and GIVE THEM a sign.

And by the way, many of us may also deeply, grieve for our pets.  Guess what???  They know how to give signs to.  Ask them to lay on the bed or couch with you, move their favorite toy or maybe run in front of you (of course, don't trip on them. LOL) of course, you may see them in shadow form.

And listen, you are NEVER alone...give me shout.....I'll be glad to give you a SIGN that someone is right there with you. :)

THE OLDE ANGEL INN-NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE, ONTARIO...YOU ARE NEVER ALONE!!!

Did you miss me??? I took a couple weeks off to rest from the CRAZY month of October and then last week went on a Mother/Daughter cruise for my daughters 24th birthday!  So please be patient if you emailed me, I am still playing "catch-up". LOL  Now, for this weeks blog...

During the War of 1812, the inn was known as the Harmonious Coach House.  Canada was in the firm hands of the British; however, in May 1813 American forces captured Fort George and Newark, as Niagara-on-the-Lake was called then.  The British retreated, except for one office by the name of Captain Swayze.  He went to the coach house to bid farewell to the innkeeper's daughter, with whom he had fallen madly in love with.  As the Americans approached, he hid in the cellar.  Troops searching the house found Captain Swayze in the basement and bayoneted him to death torching the coach house.

The inn was rebuilt in 1815 and renamed the Sign of the Angel Inn.  By 1820, the accounts of ghostly sightings reached the local newspaper.  The paper described a variety of ghostly activities including:  footsteps heard in empty rooms, clinking of glasses, laughter, disembodied voices echoing throughout the inn, and the unnerving appearance of specters. 

Today the inn is known as the Olde Angel Inn, and after nearly 200 years, the haunting continues.  In addition to hearing the explainable noises, many patrons have seen dark shadows.  The sighting of spectral red coats in the mirror of the women's bathroom has been reported frequently.  But fear not.  The innkeepers tell us that as long as the British flag flies over the door, they'll do you know harm.  Then again, it seems Captain Swayze still holds a grudge.  The American beer tap at the bar often malfunctions, while the British and Canadian taps work fine.

THE HAUNTED MYRTLES-HEAR THE STORY OF GREG STEPHENS OF RIP

I love it when I can share a story of someone else who has had a paranormal experience.  Greg Stephens is the Founder of RIP and an EXCELLENT paranormal investigator!!!  I have investigated with Greg and his team and they are a wonderful group of investigators.  We are headed to the VERY HAUNTED Myrtles Plantation in January with them in January.

Here is Greg's story about an experience he had at the Myrtles.

It was last March and myself and a few team members arrived at the myrtles plantation in St. Francisville Louisiana. Upon arrival we can tell we were going to have a good investigation that night the air seemed to be electric already from the spirits that still roam the ground of this beautiful plantation. I was in a cottage room with one of my team members, Carina and her son, doing a EVP session with a recorder and flashlight. We were getting great responses from a spirit that was using the flashlight turning it on and off on command. Even heard a faint disembodied voice of a little girl, so at this point I decided to go to my truck and get some equipment for them to play with.  I left the room to get my two EMF meters from my truck across the gravel parking lot I shut my door of my truck to go back to the cottage a big gust of wind come out of nowhere right in front of me and blew dirt and gravel everywhere.  It was such a big blast that I saw Carina look out the window from the chair she was sitting in.  As fast as it came up it was gone and I walked to the door of the cottage turn the handle but it was locked,I was a little bit confused because I know I didn't lock the door and I thought maybe Carina locked it so I tried again but it was locked. I knocked on the door and I hear Carina tried to open the door and then I heard her unlock the door and I laughed and said didn't want me to come back in? She looked at me and said why did you lock the door?  I said I didn't lock the door. so I checked it out and it's a pushbutton lock on the door knob that you have to push it in and turn, I tried to re-create as if my hand accidentally locked it but it was not possible unless I stop and physically turn pushed and turn it in.  I laughed and said well I guess that the wind was a spirit and didn't want me to come back in. 

We actually didn't get much else after I got locked out so we stopped and waited until it was time to do our investigation that night. We started our investigation around the grounds of the myrtles plantation and I have a full spectrum camera that takes multiple shots in a split second to catch movement and shadows.  I was really hoping I could catch Chloe since she is a slave girl who took care of the children and was accused of baking a cake with poison in it that killed the owners her children. She has been seen many times by people who stay there and  by the people that work there and there's a couple pictures granny black-and-white photos that captured Chloe or what appears to be Chloe and I wanted to get a good shot of her that night. About halfway through our investigation I went out of the courtyard away from the house and then shot my pictures back toward the courtyard. I was about 20 yards away as I took many many pictures in that area when I actually caught the image of Chloe on camera I did not see her with my eyes but I did captured her on film.  I tried to re-create the shot that night many times over and I can never get it again.  So back in July I was in the area for work so I went back one evening and tried again in the exact same spot exact same angle exact same time and night different type of weather because of the year but I wasn't able to get another picture of Chloe but it also confirm to me that it was Chloe manifesting as she made her walk from the main house to what is now the General store and check in.  I have compared my picture to others and to me and others who have seen it agree it looks just like Chloe from another angle.  I can't wait to go back and try another full investigation again and see what we capture this time.

THE HAUNTED CONGRESS HOTEL IN CHICAGO-SEE WHAT I FOUND-REPOST

If you have not stayed at the Congress Hotel in Chicago....you should!!!  It is reportedly the most haunted hotel in the city.  I was lucky enough to get a room at this hotel to do an investigation as a Christmas Present from my boyfriend and I loved every minute of it!!!  I was also lucky enough to have one of my FAVORITE paranormal groups White Dog Paranormal to meet me there.  We had a great time!

Ok....I know, you guys don't care about all that....you just want to know if we saw any GHOSTS!!!
First here is a little bit about this wonderful place.  It was built to help house visitors of the World Fair in 1893.  It was also owned at one point by the one and only Al Capone.  Supposedly the most haunted floors are the 4th and the 12th(I stayed on the 12th).  Some of the spirits roaming this place is none other than Al himself along with a mother and two sons, whom supposedly was waiting for the arrival of her husband and when she found out he wasn't coming, she through her two boys over the 12th floor balcony and then jumped herself.  Then there's Peg Leg Johnny, a hobo that was murdered in the hotel.  And the MOST HAUNTED ROOM OF ALL #441.  YES, I did request to stay in that room but was told the whole 4th floor was closed!  Of course, we had to go check it out ourselves and found that the 4th floor was completely dark!  Did we leave......of course not!!!  We just sat down in the floor, in the dark and started conducting an EVP Session.

When you start asking questions about the spirits that haunt the hotel you will find out quickly that some of the people DON'T want to talk about it, but a couple of the bell hops were willing to share their stories.  We were lucky enough to meet Johnny the late night security guard who has worked at the Congress for about 18 years.  At first, he wasn't willing to talk, but he couldn't resist my Texas accent!!! LOL  He eventually warmed up to us and took us on a tour all around the hotel and to places we normally wouldn't have access to.  THANK YOU JOHNNY!!!!  He told us story after story of paranormal activity.  Even as recent as the week before we were there, of people leaving their rooms claiming things were moving, they were touched, etc.

After we left Johnny, we investigated on our own.  Yep...you guessed it, we went places not many people could or WOULD not go.  We had a lot of activity in a little stairwell we found behind an unmarked door.  Be sure and watch the video I am posting of that session.   You DON'T want to miss it!!!
