Have you ever felt like you could see dead people?  Maybe, had a feeling about someone you've just met and not know why?  Well, guess what?  You have abilities.  Yep.  It's not just your imagine.  We all have some kind of spiritual ability, and let's talk about yours.

Some people want NO PART OF IT!  Let's be real.  Seeing dead people is not everyone's cup of tea.  But let me say this to you, if you are starting to "notice" you are seeing things and that others aren't, you are here by no accident.  Something or someone brought you to this page.  You need a message yourself and maybe some clarity.

Let's talk about two different kinds of abilities. You are either a RECEIVER or an INVITER.  What the hell is a RECEIVER AND AN INVITER you ask? Well, I am about to tell you.  And hopefully, I can clear up some of your confusing thoughts when it comes to "messages" or "images" you may be receiving and experiencing and not know why.

What is a RECEIVER?  A Receiver is a someone that does NOT ASK for a "message" from the other side.  It just happens.  With or without your permission or intent.  A Receiver does not get a choice on WHEN or WHERE they receive a message or visit from the other side.  You may have no say in the matter whatsoever.  Sometimes, this can be a gift and sometimes a curse.  It's all about how you perceive it.  The spirits will come to you. Usually, not in the obvious ways of trying to communicate with the other side such as Ouija boards, séance's or other direct methods we think of when trying to communicate with the dead.  

What is an INVITER?  An Inviter are more than likely, a medium.  A medium is someone who ASK to speak to a particular spirit that is not living.  This type of channeling sometimes includes, using Ouija boards, séance tables and sometimes allowing the spirits to inhibit the mediums body and use their voice to relay a message.  You are inviting the spirits to communicate with you, and a Receiver is not.

Think of it this way.  You are a beacon of light in a dark room.  When you are a Receiver, everyone in that dark room will gravitate towards you and you will not be able to pick and  choose who you want to talk to.  But, when you are an Inviter, you are the beacon of light, with your very own spotlight that you can shine on one particular spirit to communicate with.

Sometimes, I think being an Inviter is a little better than being a Receiver because then you have a choice of when and where you communicate with spirits.  Not, just all the sudden a dead person shows up next to you at the movies!

Here is an example of a Receiver's abilities.  This is a true story about me.  I was at a conference this summer and we were on a ghost hunt in an old abandon hotel.  I was with a bunch of ladies I did not know.  We were trying to communicate with the spirit of a little girl that had supposedly drown down in the pool area.   All of the sudden I started seeing this man.  WTH?  Why was I seeing him?  It was obvious to me that know one else was noticing him.  Do I say something?  I am looking around and totally confused.  Wait!  We were asking to talk with the spirit of a little girl, not a grown man.  

All of the sudden, I see him walk over behind a lady I had never met before and stand behind her and put his hands on her shoulders.  He was tall, blonde hair, button-down shirt,  and jeans.  He was smiling and told me to tell her to "follow your heart".  So, that's what I did.  I looked at her and said, "I'm sorry, but did you lose someone in your family that would be tall and have blonde hair"?  She said, "yes".  And then I heard him say, almost in a regretful way, "I killed myself".  I DID NOT want to say that out loud, because the lady I was speaking to was almost "dismissive" of what I was saying to her anyway.  And the one thing I DID NOT WANT TO DO is continue with what I am perceiving is a message from one loved one to another, by overstepping my boundaries if the living person was not ready to receive the message.  Then she starts to say, "Yes.  My brother.  He overdosed".  And then continues to tell us that she had not spoken of him in a long, long time, until today when she, and I believe she said, her sister were talking about him in the car on the way up.

Then I said, "he said to make SURE I tell you, to follow your heart".  Then I asked, "does this have any meaning to you at all"? and she said, "No".  I asked again, "Are you sure?" And again, she responses, "No".   So, I am saying back to him, (telepathically) "she doesn't know what you are talking about"!  Then he says, "No.  Ask her about her job"!  And this time he said it with conviction!  Like I am not leaving here until she gets my message.    "She will know what I mean if you ask her about her job".  So, as badly as I hated to, I turned around again, and said, "I'm sorry, are you considering a job change"?  This time she looked at me a little confused and said, "Yes".  And I said, "That is the message.  Follow your heart and not the money".  I asked again, "Do you understand this message"? And this time she said, "Yes".  I just said "Good" and tried to just leave it at that.  I didn't want to pressure her anymore.  And "he" was so cute, and just waved and said, "Bye ladies, I'm out"!  And just like that he was gone.

Now, did I ask for him to come give his sister a message? No.  Did I ask her if I could try and communicate with her brother? No.  It just happened.  This is what it is like being a Receiver.  You never know when or where a spirit will reach out to you.

So, either way.  Whether you invest and grow your gift or you choose to disconnect from it, just know that you are either going to be the person in that dark room that is the beacon of light for others, or the person in that dark room holding the spotlight.  It may not be easy to decide what to do next, but I hope this helped you understand just a little more about how the spirits see you as on the other side.  

And, by the way, the lady that had received a message from her brother, texted me a few days later and thanked me for the message.  She said she had never really believed in "that sort of thing" but she knew exactly what the message was about, as she was not only making a career choice, but considering making some life choices as well.  This lady will make the right decision.  Don't ask me how I know, but I do.  And good for her.  Nothing makes me feel better than to give a message to someone, that sometimes, doesn't even know they need it.   

 

ONE OF THE MOST HAUNTED HOUSES IN THE WORLD-THE WINCHESTER HOUSE-YEP I'VE BEEN THERE!!!! WHAT DID I ENCOUNTER???

                              

We've all heard the stories of Sarah Winchester.  The wife of the William Winchester, the man who made the Winchester Riffle.  When her husband died, Sarah believed that she was cursed because of the inheritance from the riffle and what I had always heard about Sarah was that she built this amazing house (or had workers doing construction 24/7) because a physic told her to.  This would keep the spirits confused and they could never find her.

Now, in the movie, there is a bit of difference.  SPOILER ALERT- In the movie, they say that Sarah had workers working 24/7.  And Sarah would have every death record of people that was killed with a Winchester Riffle sent to her and she would design and re-build the room they were shot in.  Then she would have the workers build the room then nail it up with 13 nails to keep the spirits in.  And all the crazy things about the house, windows that open to nowhere, stairs leading to nowhere and all kinds of other crazy things, Sarah would have visions of them first.  In the movie they also made it out to be Sarah was having violent episodes with these spirits attaching her and her family.   

No doubt, if you are interested in the paranormal, the Winchester House should be on your bucket list!!!!  For sure.....it was on mine!!!!  A couple years ago, for my birthday my boyfriend and I went up to see this "unbelievable" place!  Ok...I am going to keep it real with you guys....you expect.... or I did anyway.... to drive out away from the city to see the house.  Well....it is surrounded with concert parking lots and businesses.  So, for me.....I was just a little disappointed about that.

It is VERY COMMERCIALIZED!!!  There is a huge gift shop right when you pull in the parking lot and you have to go through it to get to the house.  Now, I TOTALLY understand that....but if they want to build on the "mystery" of the house.... I think they should have put the gift shop at the back not to take away from this amazing place.

Ok...with that said......the house is beyond BEAUTIFUL on the outside and the landscaping is gorgeous!!!  There are all these little single building that held the carriages, food, water and all kinds of other things.  In some ways, the Winchester House it's own little town.

Now, for whatever reason.....I would have to really LOVED to have met Sarah Winchester.  I think she was a woman that believed what she believed....and didn't really care what other people thought.  You know....kinda like me.  I'm a ghost hunter and that's that! :)

Now, let's talk about the house.  I REALLY don't want to be negative about this place because if you get a chance to go YOU SHOULD.  This is my opinion and my opinion only :)  I was disappointed to learn that even though the house has some finishing none of them are original.  The original pieces were auctioned off after Sarah's death and they were never "tagged" so even knowing where they might be today is impossible.

In the video's I have attached, it shows people taking pictures and video.  Now, a couple years ago when I was there, we weren't allowed to do that.  Which again, disappointing.  I hate it when you go to an amazing location and they won't let you take pictures...right???   That might have changed with the movie coming out.  Anyway, the one thing I will say is......being INSIDE and seeing for yourself all the crazy halls, stairs, windows and just knowing that someone actually lived there like Sarah is very surreal!!!  So getting to have a true paranormal experience...well I will have to say I had none.

There may not be any of her belongings left, but her PRESENCE is still very much alive.  They do have a lot of old pictures on the walls and I thought that was really neat.  So, please don't take this post as a negative thing, I LOVED THIS PLACE...just telling you my experience.  Now, if I could go back and be able to do a quick EVP session and take pictures and video I would definitely do it.

By the way.........I spent a TON OF MONEY IN THE GIFT SHOP!!!!!!!!  LOL  Totally got caught up in just BEING at the world famous Winchester Mansion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ANNABELLE THE HAUNTED DOLL

Ok.  It's getting to that time of year where everything is scary!!!  I will be sharing some of my FAVORITE TRUE HAUNTINGS with you over the next month until Halloween.  Some of the hauntings are just sooooo CREEPY it is hard to believe.

Now, have you ever seen a doll that just CREEPS you out!!!  They don't have black eyes or blood running down their mouth but for whatever reason......you think "OHHHHHH THAT DOLL IS CREEPY"!!!  If so, then below is a story I think you can relate to.


The True Story Of Annabelle, The Haunted Doll From THE CONJURING

The actual details of the demonic doll case as seen in the hit film!

Annabelle is real.
One of the creepiest parts of the truly scary The Conjuring is the evil possessed doll Annabelle, who makes up the cornerstone of Ed and Lorraine Warren's spooky museum of trophies. Director James Wan redesigned Annabelle for the movie, giving her a much more disturbing appearance, but in real life Annabelle was just your run of the mill Raggedy Ann doll.
Donna got Annabelle from her mother in 1970; mom bought the used doll at a hobby store. Donna was a college student at the time, and living with a roommate named Angie, and at first neither thought the doll was anything special. But over time they noticed Annabelle seemed to move on her own; at first it was really subtle, just changes in position, the kinds of things that could be written off as the doll being jostled. But the movement increased, and within a few weeks it seemed to become fully mobile. The girls would leave the apartment with Annabelle on Donna's bed and return home to find it on the couch.
Their friend Lou hated the doll. He thought there was something deeply wrong with it, something evil, but the girls were modern women and didn't believe that sort of thing. There must be an explanation, they reasoned. But soon Annabelle's actions got even weirder - Donna began to find pieces of parchment paper in the house with messages written on it. "Help us," they would say, or "Help Lou." Just to make the whole thing that much creepier nobody in the house had parchment paper. Where the hell was it coming from?
The escalation continued. One night Donna returned home to find Annabelle in her bed, with blood on her hands. The blood - or some sort of red liquid - seemed to be coming from the doll itself. That was enough; Donna finally agreed to bring in a medium. The sensitive sat with the doll and told the girls that long before their apartment complex had been built there had been a field on that property. A seven year old girl named Annabelle Higgins had been found dead in that field. Her spirit remained, and when the doll came into the house the girl latched on to it. She found Donna and Angie to be trustworthy. She just wanted to stay with them. She wanted to be safe with them.
Being sweet, nurturing types - they were both nursing students - Donna and Angie agreed to let Annabelle stay with them. And that's when all hell broke loose.
Lou started having bad dreams, dreams where Annabelle was in his bed, climbing up his leg as he lay frozen, sliding up his chest to his neck and closing her stuffed hands around his throat, choking him out. He would wake up terrified, head pounding like all blood had been cut off to his brain. He was freaking out. He was worried about the girls.
A few days later he and Angie were hanging out, planning a road trip, when they heard someone moving around in Donna's room. They froze - was it a break in? Was there an intruder in the apartment? Lou crept over to the door, listening to rustling within. He threw open the door and everything was as it should be - except Annabelle was off the bed and sitting in a corner. As he approached the doll Lou was consumed with that feeling, a burning on the back of the neck that indicates someone was staring at you and he spun around. Nobody was there. The room was empty. And then sudden pain on his chest. He looked in his shirt and saw a series of raking claw marks, rough ditches in his flesh that burned. He knew Annabelle had done it.
The weird claw marks began healing almost immediately. They were totally gone in two days. They were like no wounds any of them had ever seen before. They knew they needed more help, and they turned to an Episcopalian priest, who in turned called in Ed and Lorraine Warren.

It didn't take the Warrens long to come to their conclusion: there was no ghost in this case. There was an inhuman spirit - a demon - attached to the doll. But they warned that the doll wasn't possessed; demons don't possess things, only people. It was clinging to the doll, manipulating it, in order to give the impression of a haunting. The target was really Donna's soul.
A priest performed an exorcism on the apartment and the Warrens took possession of the doll. They put it in a bag and began the long drive home; Ed agreed to stay off the highways because there was a concern that the demon might fuck with the car, and at 65 miles an hour that would be disastrous. And sure enough, as they drove on the back roads, the engine kept cutting out, the power steering kept failing and even the brakes gave them trouble. Ed opened the bag, sprinkled the doll with holy water and the disturbances stopped... for the moment.
Ed left the doll next to his desk; it began levitating. That happened a couple of times and then it seemed to just quit, finally laying quiet. But in a couple of weeks Annabelle was back to her old tricks; she started appearing in different rooms in the Warren home. Sensing that the doll was ramping back up the Warrens called in a Catholic priest to exorcise Annabelle. The priest didn't take it seriously, telling Annabelle "You're just a doll. You can't hurt anyone!" Big mistake: on his way home the priest's brakes failed, and his car was totaled in a horrible accident. He survived.
Eventually the Warrens built a locked case for Annabelle, and she resides there to this day. The locked case seems to have kept the doll from moving around, but it seems like that whatever terrible entity is attached to it is still there, waiting. Biding its time. Ready for the day when it can again be free.

WHAT DO PSYCHIC'S HAVE TO DO WITH GHOST HUNTING???

  

Hellooooo Everyone!!!  Man I missed you guys! Has it only been a week??? Seems like WEEKS!!! haha  I have soooo much to tell you but today I am going to stick to my regular topic schedule, but just let me say, that Deak and I just got back from Atlanta and had the most AMAZING time at an old cemetery there!  I hope to post some of our evidence later this week so watch for it, I think you will definitely enjoy it!!!

Ok...enough of that....down to business.  Well, ghost hunters look for the dead and Psychic's talk to them so it would suggest a "good working" relationship, right?  Well, I have the utmost respect for Psychic or Mediums.  They are able to communicate with the dead in a way that "us, the average Joe" can't.  They are in tuned with the universe in such a way that spirits are able to show themselves(maybe in not the way we remember them) through signs and visions.  But be aware, as much as I respect their field, just like in ours in Ghost Hunting there are those who have no intent of helping people or researching and understanding our field.  Frauds, be careful they are out there.

I do not have a Psychic or a Medium in our group, but think it would be an asset to.  I have interviewed people that say they are "psychics".  I just have never found one that I feel 100% positive about.  Now, that doesn't mean you can't.  Just do your RESEARCH just like you would if you were investigating....ask questions, LOTS of questions, get refinances from others(if you know them personally or someone you trust has suggested them) and if you are still on the fence, invite them along on an investigation and see how they fit in with your group and get your groups "feelings" and feedback about them.  If you currently or have had in the past a Psychic or Medium in your group I would love to hear the Pros and Cons of having them in your group. 

Now, one thing I want to say really quickly is, once you have decided that you have found a Psychic or Medium that you feel good about, be careful of another pit fall when you are taking them along on an investigation.  BECAUSE they DO add so much additional insight and bring something unique to the group, don't fall into the trap of letting them be the FOCUS of the investigation.  Here's what I mean by that.....sometimes you start to FULLY RELYon the Psychic or Mediums communication before you do anything else on your own.  I believe we all have a 6th Sense but we have to develop it just like anything we do.....basically.....practice.  Don't start to rely so much on the Psychic or Medium that you don't allow you and other team members to develop their OWN 6th Sense.....you

 know.....LEARNING to FEEL what is around them in the dark......Sense that something isn't right......or having the hair on the back of your neck stand up.  These are ALL very important when ghost hunting.  Give them the time they need to develop THEIR OWN internal psychic abilities so to speak".  Does that make sense?
