DEMONS-WHAT DO YOU THINK THEY ARE???

If I say the word "Demon" to you what is the first thing you think of???  Something like this:

Whatever VISION comes to mind, I'll bet it wasn't bright and cheerful!!!  More like........ something evil, dark, scary, with horns and red or black eyes. 

"And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world:  he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."  -Revelation 12:9

The shaping of demons as we know them today comes from other canonical Catholic works by religious folks like St. Thomas Aquinas.  Aquinas, and other medieval theologians, defined in more detail, the mainstay characteristics, such as demons possessing humans on Earth, demons tempting humans to sell their souls and demons falling from grace into Hell.

Even though, I LOVE HALLOWEEN many people fear it!  The veil is very thin on Halloween so the dead can walk among the living without being noticed. And if the dead can walk among us without being noticed, why can't the Devil, right?  Well, I guess if you believe that "the veil" is at its thinnest. ....then it would be possible.

Demons have changed over the years as to their "appearance"  thanks to much with the movies.  Demons have traded their cloven hoofs and wings for sort-of human like body's with black eyes, super strength and a thirst for killing and destruction, possessing the entire body before being cast out with salt lines, holy water and recitation.

People's belief in Demons have been found all over the world.  Different cultures have different ideas of Demons, most of which represent something evil and many times they may not be called Devil but different names like Shaitan" or "Shayateen in Islam. 

This time of year, people seem to want to try something different.....something SCARY.....many people think it would be fun or exciting to call up the Devil or Demons at Halloween.  A word to the wise.......PROCEED WITH CAUTION!!!  Whether you think it is "innocent" fun or not, I do BELIEVE that you can call upon something that may turn out to be your WORSE nightmare!  Know how to protect yourself and if you are calling up the Devil just to "see if you can" you may be VERY SORRY.

Halloween is a great time of year!!!!  Costumes are fun......candy is sweet......but the Devil is someone you don't want to meet!  Just remember that little poem.

Until very recently, Demons and Devils are something I didn't mess around with.  But now, I do feel that maybe I have encountered something VERY EVIL and VERY DANGEROUS.  So, I my friends, are...PROCEEDING WITH CAUTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (More on that later)

THE REAL HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT IS EVEN SCARIER THAN THE MOVIE!!!

The truth about the poplar movie, The Haunting in Connecticut, was revealed in an interview with People.com.  For two years, Carmen Reed, the mother of the boy who had been plagued by a malevolent force, stated the children in the home had been slapped, groped, and terrorized.  According to the interview, in order to be closer to the clinic where her son underwent cancer treatments, the family moved into a former funeral home.

The torment began the first night they arrived.  It started with her son seeing a man with black hair that hung down to his hips.  The apparition appeared to him daily.  Sometimes, the entity would just say his name.  Other times, he'd make threats.  The doctors, after being informed of the boy's visions, declared him a schizophrenic.

Soon after, her son's disposition seemed to change.  He began playing cruel tricks on his family.  Not sure what to do, the Reed's sent their son to live with nearby relatives.  Interestingly the voices and the visions stopped!

But now with the boy gone, the entity set his sights on one of the Carmen's nieces.  One night, her eighteen-year-old niece said, "Aunt Carmen, it's coming, can you feel it?"  Terrified, she clung to Carmen.  Pulling her away, Reed glanced down and saw the imprint of an invisible hand crawl up her niece's shirt.  That's when she realized that the vision and voice that had plagued her son were supernatural.

Immediately she reached out for help.  Famed demonologist John Zaffis, along with three priests, performed a three-hour exorcism.  Zaffis was later quoted as saying, "Compared to that house, the other cases I had been involved with were like dealing with Casper the Friendly ghost."  He continued, "All I wanted to do was get my car keys and get the hell out of that house."  Although the exorcism was a success, the Reed family no longer lives there.  The torment they's endured at the hands of the evil that once lurked within their former Southington home will never be forgotten!

WHAT CAN SPIRITS DO AND NOT DO

let's talk about the most important information about what spirits can or cannot do. You might be surprised that some of the scariest things that can happen don't just wait for Halloween. 

1. Spirits have the ability to effect you mentally, physically, and emotionally

No one ghost is the same as another. Each spirit has the ability to do various task depending on the level of strength they have accumulated. Though not common, a spirit does have the ability to physically attack you. A ghost might also have the ability the effect you emotionally with things such as unexplained extreme mood swings. An extremely advanced spirit can even manipulate you mentally and challenge the reality that surrounds you.

2. A ghost does have the ability to manipulate objects

Over the course of my paranormal journey I cannot count the number of inanimate objects that I have seen moved or thrown without a natural force or explanation. I recall one time on an investigation, an item was thrown off of a stove by an unseen force directly at another investigator and myself. Spirits have the absolute ability to manipulate inanimate object. Depending on the strength of the spirit, it is possible for doors to be opened or closed, items to be thrown, items to be moved from one place to another, and even the manipulation of electrical lights. There really is not set limitation to what a spirit can physically manipulate. 

3. A ghost is a ghost and DEMONS are rare

Due to the widely broadcast shows about the paranormal field, there has been a large amount of "demon" hysteria that has taken root within the minds of those who watch these shows. I want to go on record now as saying yes, things do exist that some would classify as a demon. BUT let's take a minute to evaluate the term "demon". No matter your respective beliefs, the word "demon" was coined as a religious term to describe those inhuman things that battle against good and are theorized to come after our humanly souls. Like many deviations in the English language the term "demon" doesn't simply cover everything evil and sinister in the world. I personally believe an individual who murders or hurts children is evil, but that doesn't make them a demon. When a person dies, whether they are a rapist, murderer, or saint; who they are in the moral guidance of life does not simply transpire to angelic nature because they have now died. To put it simply, someone nasty and sinister in life will be nasty and sinister in death. This doesn't make the ghost a demon, but essentially reflects the person is the same level of bad in death they were in life. With all of this being said, please be aware a true demonic haunting is extremely rare. Most of you reading this have a better chance at winning the lottery then being attacked by a "demon". Demonic haunts are not simply removed or cast away, these entities have no restraint of time and will wait in order to reek terror and disaster through a families entire lineage. There are many "demonologist" that certify themselves as ready to take on any demon, but truthfully if they came across an actual demonic haunt they would run in the opposite direction. What's a good rule of thumb? If what you are experiencing is not beyond and more extreme then what you have seen on TV and on the big screen, then you can bet you are just dealing with some type of ghost. 

4. Spirits tend to be more concentrated in places that have experienced a lot of death or birth 

There are many scientific theories within the paranormal field as to why places are haunted and why some places are more haunted then others. I could not write a simple small answer to give any of these brilliant minds the justice they deserve for their theories, so I will offer what I will classify as my own personal belief. I personally believe that locations which experience a large amount of death or birth disrupt the natural balance of energy in the world which we all live. Basic elementary science, energy of any kind is neither created or destroyed. Energy is transferred or moved. Locations such as hospitals, battle fields, and sites of horrific deaths emit a lot of energy into the world we live in to go "beyond". This energy being so concentrated in one spot easily explains why places with a high volume of deaths or births have an extremely larger amount of spirit activity. 

5. There is no proven reason why ghosts are here or reach out

If you believe everything you see on TV and the big screen, then you will also believe that spirits are here because they have unfinished business or are simply angry to the injustice done to them in the world. I am going to take a small moment to throw a huge monkey wrench in all those claims. Why are spirits still here and making contact with us? Well the answer isn't as black and white as you have been lead to believe. Sure, some ghost might be hanging around with unfinished business or because of some grave injustice. Let's be real though. No one spirit is hanging out at your house ALL the time. Spirits have the ability to come and go as they please. No one spirit is reaching out or still here because of one simplified reason. I personally believe that spirits have the ability to come and go from the various levels of reality as we know it. This would explain why when so many people are dying they tell others they see those loved one's that have passed before them. I fully believe loved one's come and go to help us guide. Be honest with yourself and your beliefs, and you will conclude God is a busy guy. There is no way one God could watch us all, hear us all, and protect us all. I would challenge the idea that spirits of our loved ones who have passed are there to hear us, watch over us, and guide us to the next step after death. My point? Ghosts are everywhere and for all different types of possible reasons, some spirits can come and go as they see fit. At the end of it all though, it is comforting to know we are watched over and reached out too by the one's we have loved that are no longer with us in their physical form.

NATIVE AMERICANS-DO THEY HAVE A CONNECTION WITH THE AFTERLIFE THAT WE DON'T???

Native Americans: Ghosts & Spirits

Native American spiritual beliefs hold rich accounts of ghosts and spirits - that the dead live on and even visit us. Death is typically viewed as a door into the next life, or world, and not something to be feared but embraced.
"We believe that the spirit pervades all creation and that every creature possesses a soul in some degree, though not necessarily a soul conscious to itself. The tree, the waterfall, the grizzly bear, each is an embodied force, and as such an object of reverence." - Ohiyesa, Sioux 1902 (aka Charles Eastman)
The Native American belief in spirit (and ghost) visitation can be found in an amazing speech made in 1854, by Chief Seattle:
"And when the last red man shall have perished from the earth and his memory among white men shall have become a myth, these shores shall swarm with the invisible dead of my tribe, and when your children's children shall think themselves alone in the field, the store, the shop, upon the highway or in the silence of the woods, they will not be alone." - Chief Seattle, 1854

This incredible Native American idea of spirit interaction with the living, what we call spirits or ghosts, could be understood as meaning that Chief Seattle's people (Suquamish) will be with us, for we are all connected as one, great humanity - brothers. However, his address from 1854 is also haunting as we continue to read his words for he seemed to give a warning that, in the afterlife, ghosts and spirits affect the living:
"The white man will never be alone. Let him be just and lindly deal with my people, for the dead are not powerless. Dead - I say? There is no death. Only a change of worlds."
We might say that Native American beliefs in the afterlife reveal a hidden, spirit world that interacts with this earthly plane - a greater, underlying connection that exists before our eyes - many remaining unaware of its existence. Black Elk, a Lakota Sioux medicine man, had much to say about the unseen world of Spirit co-existing with the physical world we know:
“The first peace, which is the most important, is that which comes within the souls of people when they realize their relationship, their oneness with the universe and all its powers, and when theyrealize at the center of the universe dwells the Great Spirit, and that its center is really everywhere, it is within each of us.”
"The Great Spirit is everywhere; he hears whatever is in our minds and our hearts, and it is not necessary to speak to him in a loud voice."
This idea of a Great Spirit being everywhere and within everything is the meaning behind Black Elk's words. Here are two more quotes from this great Native American:
“Peace will come to the hearts of men when they realize their oneness with the universe. It is everywhere.”
“The Holy Land is everywhere.”

Another example of this idea is reflected in the story of how the great warrior, Crazy Horse, was said to have found his courage and strength. According to the book, Black Elk Speaks, Crazy Horse shared with Black Elk his vision that occurred in the spirit world:
“Crazy Horse dreamed and went into the world where there is nothing but the spirits of all things. That is the real world that is behind this one, and everything we see here is something like a shadow from that one.”
Crazy Horse also described his horse floating and moving differently above the field (thus, "Crazy Horse") in his powerful vision. It's been said that he was able to move in and out between the spirit realm and the physical world, able to see both, and so his courage and power was greater than most men.
Let's consider the concept that people can make a choice to move beyond this plane after death of the body but still interact with the living (at times, as loving, guiding spirits often seen in dreams and visions), or consistently remain behind, earthbound and troubled (what we would call ghosts). We can find this choice upon death of the body reflected in Native American beliefs by reading A Speech to the Dead by Native American (Luiseno) Chief Fox:
"Now this day you have ceased to see daylight.
Think only of what is good.
Do not think of anything uselessly.
You must think all the time of what is good.
You will go and live with our nephew.
And do not think evil towards these your relatives.
When you start to leave them this day you must not think backwards of them with regret.
And do not think of looking back at them.
And do not feel badly because you have lost sight of this daylight.
This does not happen today to you alone, so that you thus be alone when you die.
Bless the people so that they may not be sick.
This is what you will do.
You must merely bless them so that they may live as mortals here.
You must always think kindly.
Today is the last time I shall speak to you.
Now I shall cease speaking to you, my relative."

The above was an article taken off the Angels and Ghosts website.  But I thought it was really good.  I love reading about Spirits and the Native American Indian.  There is SUCH an emotional connection between the Native American Indian and Spirits that just seems to be at a level higher than non-American people.

Below is a cemetery that I visited years ago up in Seattle.  I'm sorry I don't remember the name of it but I can tell you that it is a cemetery JUST FOR Native American Indians.  As we walked around the cemetery I remember constantly thinking I could hear drums beating!!!  My senses seemed to be on overload.....I felt completely different and not scared..... just different.....more spiritual.  I can't explain it  but I LOVED THIS PLACE!!!!!

THE CURSE OF THE POLTERGEIST FILMS-SHOULD WE PAY MORE ATTENTION!!!

 

The year is 1982.  Finally,  it is the opening night of Poltergeist!!!!  One of the scarcest, paranormal films ever produced!  My girlfriends and I.....ok....pretty sure it was just ME (they were to scared to go) got dressed and couldn't get out the door fast enough to watch a movie about "MY SECRET WORLD of studying the paranormal".  Even through I was scared to death.......I couldn't be more EXCITED!!!!!  FINALLY..... a movie that I felt was pretty close to what I thought COULD BE possible with the paranormal.  Stuff I had been secretly studying in every waking minute trying to understand the possibility that we don't really have to say "good-bye" to our loved ones at the time of death and that the afterlife really isn't so different from the living.

Sitting in that theater....hanging on every word.....so scared I could hardly move....seeing the sweetest little girl being tortured by spirits and a small little round lady that believed Carol Anne (little girl) was telling the truth about what she was seeing and what was happening to her had me at ......... "THEY'RE HERE"! lol

Now, in the movie,  it has...... believe it or not, a happy ending.  But in REAL life the actors and the crew of the Poltergeist movies were living a very DIFFERENT reality. Murder, sickness and sudden death plagued the cast and crew almost instantly after filming.  The legend says that there were real skulls and skeletons used in the films as a props.  And because of this they were all cursed.

Actress Jo Beth Williams has added to this story by pointing out in various interviews that she was told the bones used in a swimming pool scene were real.  Can you imagine!!!!!!!!! Being in a pool of REAL HUMAN BONES floating up all around you!!!!!!!!!!  That scares me just the thought of it!

The "curse" story evolved from the fact that four of the films' stars and one producer have suffered premature or mysterious deaths.  The actors and actresses who are said to have died at the hands of the curse include:  Dominique Dunne, from the first Poltergeist film, who was strangled by a jealous lover in 1988 and after going into septic shock; Julian Beck, who played the evil 'Kane' in Poltergeist 2, who died of stomach cancer (Although he had already been diagnosed with this before being approached to play a role in the film); and Will Sampson, who played The Medicine Man in Poltergeist 2, who died from kidney failure.  Brian Gibson, who directed Poltergeist 2, also died prematurely from Ewing's Sarcoma in 2004.

Another interest incident linked with the Poltergeist trilogy occurred during a photo shoot featuring Zelda Rubenstein who played the psychic (my little round lady).  In one picture her face is entirely obscured by a shining white light; strangely, the picture was being taken at the same moment as her mother's death thousands of miles away.  Zelda died at the age of 76 after suffering a heart attach and never fully recovered in 2010.

Here's the deal....whether the film is cursed or not...bad things sometimes happen.  That's a fact.  But in a world of technology and where the study of paranormal has taken off.....and the REAL research I feel has been lost in a world of YouTube Videos and instant fame....everyone wanting to become a paranormal investigator with a camera and digital recorder....we lose sight of what we are really trying to accomplish....PROOF.  Undeniable PROOF that the doorway to the other side is never really shut and in the process remember that sometimes all we really need is our eyes, ears and the ability to know what is fact from fiction.  And in the process of it all.......do it with RESPECT!!! 





DEMONS-ARE THEY REAL???

Many times people don't know if they are dealing with something that is truly Demonic or maybe just a "cranky" spirit. When you are dealing with something TRULY EVIL OR DEMONIC things like possession can happen or things suddenly start to be dark, negative and there rarely seems to be a "good day" when your home is haunted by something bad!  The BEST thing you can do is be positive!!!  Check out the article below about staying positive.

Are Demons Actually Real?
  
In our culture, as children we have been taught that demons, ghosts, and imaginary friends, are just that - imaginary. They are like Santa and the Easter Bunny... fake. And any kid who sees them frequently is told they need to be realistic, to stop playing games, and that they are being weird or mentally ill.
But are all these children really perceiving "imaginary" beings? Or are they real?
Children are, by and large, far more naturally psychically sensitive than are adults. This is because social programming has not yet crushed their psychic abilities.
In a way, to avoid being weird and by attempting to fit in, children 'wish away' their psychic abilities. This demonstrates the power of intention and affirmations, and how they can affect the development, or suppression, of psychic abilities.
While materialistic adults generally appreciate self-defense and the ability to protect one's own family and property, they usually have absolutely no concept of subtle dimensions.
They do not know anything about the dangers of negative spirit entities.
In today's modern world, it's just as bad. Evil spirits are never discussed in public and are rarely even written about.
If there are real spiritual problems, then someone has to deal with them eventually. Like termites, they won't just go away if you ignore them. Or even if you yell at them.
Here are some do's and don'ts about negative entities:

You won't get far as a spiritual person if you don't accept the reality of the astral planes, and subtle energies.

Acknowledge The Existence Of Astral Beings

You won't get very far as a psychic or spiritual practitioner if you don't accept the reality of the "other side" and the existence of other dimensions. In order to make progress you need to open up to the existence of energies of all polarities.
Just as there are angels, there are demons. Just as there are good spirits, there are bad spirits. Everything has its opposite number.
And just like Earth, which is a planet on the physical plane, other dimensions have creatures and beings. Some are beautiful and helpful, and some are ugly and dangerous.
By knowing this, you can TAKE PRECAUTIONS against them, and give yourself some peace of mind.

Protect Yourself From These Harmful Beings

All the worlds and dimensions of existence are not necessarily full of "love and light" as the NewAge fluffs will tell you. It's simply not true.
There are some legitimate threats to your safety and wellbeing present on subtle dimensional levels close to the Earth plane.
Most people do not have many recognizable problems with the other side, but when they do...what can they do about it? As said, most people disbelieve in such things. And there is very little realistic 'help' available in this arena today.
But you must know that as you live your life here in the physical, there are also negative forces and beings that prey off fear, anxiety, and other negative types of energy.

Don't Give Permission For Possession

A little-known fact is that for actual possession to occur, the victim needs to give permission on some level to the demon to enter and influence their body and mind.
A possession is the action of a negative entity taking some degree of control over a person's mind and physical body from the inside.

Do Keep Your Mind, Body, And Space Clean

The interior of your house, bedroom, and personal space could be a major attraction to a negative entity, or it could be a major turnoff. For example, if you keep a happy, clean, uplifting environment, with fresh flowers, fresh clothes and sunshine, then your space will be filled with positive spirits and energies. There is no chance that a toxic negative entity will be attracted to your space.
On the other hand, if your space is dark, dank, dirty, and depressing, then negative entities will LOVE it.

Being a positive and happy upbeat person - even though it may not always be easy - is the most powerful NATURAL way to defend yourself and ward off negative entities.
If you focus on negative energies in a fearful way, you will feed them. This will make matters worse, because here you are actually empowering negative entities that might be around you. This will allow them to become more active and troublesome.
The reverse applies. Ignore them, refuse to fear, and keep your energy integrity, and you will not feed them. You will starve them. And then things will get better.

A popular saying today is 'What you resist, persists' (Carl Jung). This maxim has been taken way out of context today...when applied to negative entities and energies. This is used today as a 'big' excuse not to do anything, or to even talk about it, when something goes spiritually wrong.
Blindly following this maxim is like ignoring termites in your house because you are afraid they'll get angry with you. But if you ignore termites, you house will fall down around your ears. Resisting termites and taking sensible actions...like calling in pest control and doing repairs, are just common sense!

Deak and I flew into the Denver Airport and from there...... we rented a car and drove to the Stanley.  So, I have been trying to post SCARY stuff this whole week on my facebook page(www.facebook.com/Becksghosthunters /You can click on the FB badge on my front page and it will take you right to my FB Page) but I thought I would also post some extra HAUNTED SCARY stuff on my blog as well in honor of my FAVORITE HOLIDAY......HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, AFTER we got back from the Stanley, I was doing some research and came across this...


IS THE DENVER AIRPORT ONE OF THE MOST EVIL PLACES ON EARTH????

I found this to be VERY interesting since the Denver Airport is the airport that you fly into to go to the Stanley Hotel. So, I was just there a couple of weeks ago!  WHAT THE HECK???? The AIRPORT is HAUNTED?????  And not only haunted but DEMONIC!!!!!!  Man....just my luck.....a day late and a dollar short! LOL  I did NOT know this until AFTER we got home!!!  DANG!!!! 

Anyway here are some of the things that is said about the airport:

 Exit arrows point at each other instead of outside; corridors lead to nowhere; and security checkpoints seem to disappear mysteriously as you approach them. As you drive into the airport, you're greeted by a giant horse with glowing red eyes, and one of the terminals is decorated with a massive statue of Anubis, the ancient Egyptian god of death.

Many people believe that DEN's dark aeromancy. The airport has been plagued by conspiracy theories about its true purpose almost since the day construction crews broke ground on it in the mid-1990s. Here's a collection of some the best conspiracy theory videos you've ever seen, all focusing intensely on what is perhaps the most weirdly evil airport on Earth.

First, the facts. The giant, red-eyed horse sculpture at the gates of the airport really did kill the sculptor who created it. He died of blood loss when part of the statue fell on him in his studio. In this snippet of a conspiracy video about DEN, the narrator speculates about how this bloodthirsty horse sculpture might be connected to time travel. 

 

 

 

 

As the story goes, the airport was constructed on top of burial grounds and spiritual sites used for centuries by the native tribes that populated the Front Range before the coming of the White Man. The perpetual playing of Native American songs in the 365-foot-long bridge was originally initiated by officials as a way to placate any angry spirits who might want to pull a Poltergeist or The Shining on one of the nation’s busiest airports. People in the conspiracy theory world think the burial ground may have connections to the Navajo writing in the floors at DIA and the dead Native American women seen in the Tanguma murals.

When asked, DIA spokespeople laugh-off the notion that the music has anything to do with angry spirits or that the land where the airport sits was a burial site for ancient tribes. Noting that little archeological evidence of Indian burial sites has ever been found around DIA, they surmise that the rumor had its origin in a ceremony that was performed around the time of  DIA’s groundbreaking in the late-80’s by various Native American shaman to bless the new facility. Anything else is pure conjecture, they assert.

What they don’t mention is the secret ceremony conducted on the grounds of the airport in 1995.
That April, coalition of Native American spiritual leaders from around the country performed a night-time ceremony at several sites around the airport to put ancient spirits to rest that were disturbed by the construction of the multi-billion dollar airport. They were part of an official city group under the Webb administration called the “DIA Spiritual Resolution Committee.”

Members included representatives of the Cheyenne and Arapaho tribes who said they had discovered several sites where the spirits had been disturbed, said an article in the Rocky Mountain News. The city and the airport even paid for leaders of the Montana Cheyenne to come to Denver calm the Indian ghosts. At the time, one of the group’s members told another reporter that “Whenever [spirits] are disturbed, it seems like bad things come about.”

HOW TO TELL IF YOUR SCHOOL IS HAUNTED?

I have had a couple of teachers and students ask me "How can I tell if my school is haunted"?  So I thought this would be a good week to write about it with school starting.

Have fellow students or even teachers admitted that they have encountered strange activity, such as doors opening and closing on their own, lights going on and off, disembodied footsteps or voices, phantom music, or maybe even an apparition? Perhaps you’ve experienced something unusual yourself. I have had some teachers and students write me on HOW they can tell if there school is haunted so......Here are some ways you can find out:

1. Ask around. Seek school staff and ask them if they have had any experiences with strange activity. Those who work after hours might be the most helpful. Maintenance workers are often at the school in the evening or at night when the place is empty and quiet, and paranormal activity can more easily be noticed. Teachers sometimes stay after hours, too, to grade papers, prepare activities, or oversee a student club. Find out if they've come across anything that could be considered paranormal. Likewise ask fellow students if they've had any weird experiences. Ask them to spread the word that you are seeking this information. (Be cautious, however; some students are likely to make up stories.)

1. Check online listings. There are some good sources on the Internet for information about haunted schools. This site has a gallery of Haunted Colleges and Universities. Another great source is Shadowlands.net, which has listings of haunted places for every state. Find your state and city and see if your school is listed as a place where ghosts have been reported. The listing often provides a brief description of reported activity.

Do a Google search. Use Google, Bing, or some other online search engine and see if there is any additional information online. For example, enter into the search engine:

1. "John Smith High School" ghosts haunted haunting
   Perhaps an article will show up in the results that tells you about haunting experiences.
2. Newspaper articles. An online search might yield newspaper articles, but not all newspapers put their archives online. Go to the newspaper and ask how you might conduct such a search of their archives. The local library might be helpful as well.
3. School newspaper. Does your school have a newspaper? Checking back issues of the paper might yield some ghostly anecdotes.
4. Historical Society. The local historical society is often a good source of information about the area, possibly even the school or the grounds upon which it was built. (Perhaps it was once the location of something creepy.) The society might be a source of records, legends, or stories about the location.
5. Ghost hunting groups. Contact any ghost hunting or paranormal investigation groups in your area. They might have information about haunting activity reported at the school. Perhaps they have been contacted by students or staff about experiences there. They might have even done an investigation.
6. Your Own Hunt. If you uncover some evidence that there has been some paranormal activity at your school, you could seek permission to conduct your own investigation. If they allow it, the school authorities will most likely want to have a faculty member or other school staff present. The local ghost investigation group could be helpful in providing guidance and equipment.

Tips:

1. Be persistent. It might be difficult finding out any information about hauntings or ghost reports at your school. Such research can be hard work.
2. Be skeptical. If there are stories or anecdotes about haunting activity at your school, do not automatically assume that they are true. Legends that are nothing more than made up stories are sometimes manufactured by imaginative students. Try to get the best sources you can.
3. Document your experience. If you have had your own paranormal experience at the school, write it down. Be sure to include where and when it happened, who was with you, and every detail of the experience as best as you can remember it, including every sight, sound, smell, and sensation. It might be a good idea to inform a faculty member of your experience also.
4. Document your research. It's quite possible that no one has ever assembled all of the information about paranormal activity at your school. With all of the research you've done, perhaps you can be the first one to put it all together. You could write an article or even create a small booklet or website about your haunted school. Be careful to label rumors as rumors, legends as legends, etc. You want to be a good journalist. Who knows, your English teacher might even give you extra credit for it. I would also be interested in hearing about what you have discovered.

DEMONS HATE ROSES!!!

So, in honor of all of US that watched the Bachelorette this week and watched Kaitlyn give the Final Rose to Shawn, I thought I would post about ghosts and roses.  I am not only a ghost hunter but a reality show junkie!  I know....I'm not proud of it but it is....what it is. LOL

I am going to confess that before I started researching something to do with Roses and Ghosts I had not ever heard that Demons DO NOT like ROSES!!!  Have you????  Well, from what I have found out is that Demons will burn roses because they represent "purity" and "goodness".  Also, once a demon is gone, people begin to smell roses.

This is video excerpt is from Day 2 of the Sallie House LIVE Investigation.  A lot of people asked why we had numerous roses on set, well back when the previous tenants lived in the house they reported that a rose that was placed on one of the counters’, and curiously was found burnt from the inside out.   We speculated that due to the possible demonic entity that we which seems to make its self known every time were in the house, we held a rose during the session to see if it would prompt any negative responses.  Upon further we research we also discovered that roses are often smelled after a demonic entity is exorcised from its host. Could this be why there were such negative responses during the session?
