About Me

My photo
Behind Every Cloud is a Kindred Spirit (BECKS)I lost my grandfather when I was 17. I had a VERY difficult time getting over it. How could I still communicate with him? I loved him so much I didn't think I could live without him. I read everything I could get my hands on to do with the "afterlife" and that started it all...the love of Ghost Hunting and the Paranormal. I have been researching the paranormal for over 37 years!! It is my way of staying in touch with my grandfather. Being a Ghost Hunter is not always as exciting as it seems on TV. Many nights I have sat in the dark and not a thing happened. BUT it is those times you DO get that one voice, that one explainable picture or have an experience that sends chills down your back that makes it sooo worth it all!!! My purpose of this blog is not to make people believe in ghosts but maybe to open their minds just a little bit... I LOVE this crazy thing called Ghost Hunting. It is as much a part of me as breathing. I am just a girl that refuses to accept we can't still contact our loved ones after they die. My grandfather won't let me.

JEFFERSON TEXAS-THIS PLACE IS SO HAUNTED!!! RE-POST

Jefferson Texas-More haunted pics!!!!!!!!!

The original photo-See the ghostly children
to the left of the pic???

I tried to draw an outline for you of
what I see...So what do you think...
Two children, and one adult or
three children, maybe one boy in white
and two girls in black.

I enlarged this pic and added shading to it so
you could see the figures better.

So, pretty COOL pics, right?  This was taken during the walking tour by one of our team members, Kevin Stapleton.  I do not know much about this house, still doing research, because the tour guide did not tell us about it.  Looks like to me....she might want to check on it now! LOL  I see three figures...to me it looks like children possibly .....in the old timey uniforms they used to wear to school.  What do you think?  I would love to know if you see the same figures as I do.

The above pics I previously posted on Trigger Objects.  This is a small ball that we placed on one of the end tables in my room, Room 1.  Before I left, I said out loud, "Ok, if someone is really staying here in this room with us, move the ball OUTSIDE the dully.  And I said it that way for a reason.....if by chance there was a draft or the air somehow came on (because I made sure and turned it off before leaving) then the ball would probably ROLL OFF the end of the table.  But here's another thing, there was a tiny little circular notch in the table so I put the ball in that spot on purpose so THAT it would be difficult for it to roll.  Well......as you can see......... WE WEREN'T alone!!!

Just a narrow little street in Jefferson.....oh yeah,
and a really nice orb. LOL
Another building we visited on our
walking tour, supposing having several
owners because of the spirits haunting it.

Ok, more pics to come.  There is just to many for me to edit
and post in one night.  Hope you enjoy these and the video's.
Just a cute little street in Jefferson, Tx.
Do you see the shadowy little girl in this pic???
Good, because theres NOT one....just playing with you. LOL

This was taken a while back so I was still learning how to film in
the dark and post to YouTube. lol  But it is still REALLY GOOD!!!

This is one of my FAVORITE PLACES and I just about ready to make another trip back!!!  Check out YouTube for more video's of the Jefferson Hotel.

Be sure to check the "A note from me" at the top of the page for little updates or notes just because I want to say "hi" to you guys.

EVP's from the VERY HAUNTED Goatman's Bridge featured on Ghost Adventure...

Electronic Voice Phenomena-EVP's that's what we say here in the paranormal world but you guys already knew that. :)  One of the MOST exciting developments in the field of the paranormal is the use of technology to capture unexplained human voices or sounds.  That's what we LOVE right???  A voice that is answering our questions or saying something that we KNOW we didn't make.

EVP's were first discovered quite by accident by Friedrich Jurgenson as he was recording bird calls near his home in Sweden during the 1950's.  He was flabbergasted when he heard a man's voice telling him how to better record the bird songs.  Totally intrigued, Jurgenson continued his recordings for many years after that and subsequently published a book, Voices From the Universe, that described his method of electronic communication with the dead.

Some claim the discovery of the EVP goes MUCH further back than that.  Thomas Edison, the inventor of the telephone, was quoted in Scientific American in the 1920's as saying: "Nobody knows whether our personalities pass on to another existence or sphere, but it is possible to construct an apparatus which will be so delicate that if there are personalities in another existence or sphere, this apparatus will at least give them a better opportunity to express themselves than the tilting tables and raps and Ouija boards and mediums and the other crude methods now purported to be the only means of communication."

Anyone can try to capture an EVP.  It can be done with either analog or digital recorders, though the analog or digital recorders, though the analog method will probably be phased out very shortly because of the superior quality of digital voice recorders and the ease of transferring files to a computer.  Some investigators recommend performing the experiments outside your own home; after all, if something disturbing is discovered it may upset you and change how you feel about your personal living space.

So, how do we record an EVP....

1.  Make sure your equipment is working properly.
2.  Tune an AM or FM radio to the space between channels to generate white noise.  Running water and computer programs that generate background noise will also work.
3.  State the date, time, your name, and where you are at the beginning of your recording.
4.  Ask a question, and wait about 30 secs for a response.  Understanding that it takes a lot of energy to be heard.  Don't rush.
5.  Be polite.  There is no need to provoke any entity.
6.  Transfer your recording onto your computer.  Different audio programs can help clean up the EVP.  I use Audacity.

Just a quick note...I always CLOSE the session by saying "thank you for the communication with me tonight but as of this moment ALL communication is closed".

I LOVE EVP's!!!!  They are hard work but they are worth it!!!!!!!

Above are a few EVP's that I have gotten out at the bridge that I give tours at.  See what you think!!!

RE-POST- MCPIKE MANSION-THESE SPIRITS LOVE TO BE SEEN!!! DARK PAST, CREEPY FUTURE

This is McPike Mansion in Alton, Il.  I had a great time here.  For a small town, it is covered with haunted history.  So much to do here.

Now, here's my story.  I went up to Alton, Il for one of the annual American Ghost Society's Conference.  I registered late, and therefore, missing out on an investigation of the famous "McPikes" mansion.  I was soooooo bummed!!!  So, on my way to the airport, returning from my trip, I was talking to the cab driver.  He asked me if I got to do everything I wanted and I said "no".  I missed out on an investigation on the old McPikes Mansion.  He said, no problem.  I know where it is, if you would like to go there before catching your flight.  ARE YOU KIDDING!!!!! YESSSS I would love to go there.

So, off we went. After a short drive, he pulled up in the driveway of the McPikes Mansion.  No one was there because it is abandoned and most people go at night.  I got out of the cab and walked just a little ways up in the front yard, because there are NO TRESPASSING signs posted everywhere. I just kinda walked around the front yard taking pictures.  I got back in the cab just feeling awesome that I got to at lease see the outside of the mansion.  Of course, that cab driver got a GREAT tip!!!!!

When I got home I downloaded my pics and my last pics were of the mansion.  My first thought was, wow what a beautiful old mansion and what it must have been like to live here.  THEN.... I looked at my pictures and little closer and couldn't believe my eyes!  I believe there are two people, well one man and a young girl in the window on the second floor.  I could see them clearly!!!  I was sooo excited!!!

If you look close, (may have to enlarge) you can see a little girl's face and to me, appears to be screaming... or with her mouth open.  And right behind her, standing up, looks like a man, maybe with a beard, one of those that goes around the sides of a mans face up to his sideburns.  I don't know.  What do you think?  Mr. McPike or another resident ghost?

I have included below some information about the McPikes Mansion.  And a video of one of the best EVP's I have ever heard!!! Get ready to feel that "chill run down your back" as you can plainly hear in the CREEPIEST voice ever say the word HENRY after the guy ask "what is your name?".  Don't miss it.

The house was built in 1869 by architect Lucas Pfeiffenberger.  Original owner of the Mansion was Henry Guest McPike.  The McPike family owned 15 acres of land, then known as Mount Lookout Park.  Here McPike, a horticulturist, perfected his McPike Grape.  The family lived in this, their country home, until 1936.

The house has changed hands several times since its original owner Henry McPike.  The building has been home to Browns Business College and was later owned by Paul Laichinger, who rented rooms in the house to other occupants.  The house has not been occupied since the 1950's.  Before weather and vandals brought extensive damage to the structure, it was a regal addition to the Illinois town of Alton.  There is even two small tombstones that are located at the back of the house .  Who they belong to or who may call them "home" is unknown.

The mansion featured 11 marble fireplaces and beautifully carved stairway banisters, all of which have been stolen during its abandonment. Intricate carved trim still border the ceiling in one of the front rooms.  McPike Mansion today is owned by Sharyn and George Luedke who have been trying to nurture this great house back to its regal state.  It is readily known today for its hauntings in paranormal circles. The grounds are often visited by ghost hunters and haunted tour groups in the area.  It is not uncommon to find in photos of the mansion, orbs, balls of light, even figures appearing in the windows that were not seen by the human eye when the photo was taken.

This Grand Ole House is thought to still house many of the spirits that once lived here.  Many Psychics and Mediums have felt the presence of what they believe to be McPike family, servants, as well as some of those who resided in and owned the house since 1936.

Can't wait to get back and write about this next trip!!!!

YORKTOWN MEMORIAL HOSPITAL-JAN.2016-PART 3 WANT TO SEE A FACE IN THE WINDOW??? CHECK OUT THIS VIDEO

Ok.  So here is the final part to our Yorktown investigation.  Ok...maybe not THE FINAL because I am hoping to post the EVP's from here.  We caught some AWESOME one's but I had problems uploading them so I will try again tomorrow.

So, I will try to make this short.  Here are some of things we experienced during our investigation.

First, Jeromy with Paranologies set up several devices in the hallway just outside the doll room.  I'm just guessing but he probably set out 5 or 6 devices that light up when a spirit gets near them (A 360 and Parascopes).  He lined them up one right after another about a foot apart.  Everyone was sitting along the sides of the hallway and Jeromy started asking "if anyone was here, could they give us a sign?"  Can you believe that one right after another started to light up as if someone was walking down the hall!!!  Everyone was shocked as they light up just like someone walking right in front of them.  Now, you want to hear the funny part........... I MISSED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DANG!!!!  I was back at command center getting something and when I walked back up everyone was talking about it.  Jeromy was able to catch it on film so hopefully he will be posting it soon. Jeromy was also able to catch a ball rolling off a chair when know one was around in the creepy doll room.  I love the DOLL ROOM!!!

Now, Mike,Chris, Jeromy, Pam, Rebeka and Jeromy's friend (sorry again, I forgot his name) were all down in the basement doing a flashlight session in front of the blood spatter on the wall from a double murder that took place in the basement.

Chris began the session.  He started asking yes or no questions so that the flashlight might turn on for yes and off for no.  He was able to get the flashlight to go off and on  ON COMMAND!!!  He was also able to get the spirit, TJ whom they believed they were communicating with (the young man left on the steps of the hospital to die) to turn on the other devices as Chris asked.  Such as "turn on the flashlight for yes".  Then he would say, "now make the parascope go off, and it would!!!

While they were down in the basement, Deak, Terry, Tammy, Calisa and myself were up on the second floor trying to communicate with a little girl that likes you to read stories.  After a while, the others came up to where we were on the second floor in the Nuns quarters where last year we caught the BEST APPARITION EVER on video.  I was standing in the doorway and we had a camera recording down the hallway.  All of the sudden, I could hear VERY LOUD footsteps coming down the hallway.  I was telling everyone to be quiet so I could listen.....I swear it was soooo loud and sounded like someone was walking right up to me I called "who's there" thinking it was one of the team members that wasn't in the room with us.  I TOTALLY expected to hear them say, oh it's just me.  Again, it was pitch black so you couldn't see anything and all we really had to rely on was our hearing.   All of the sudden, Mike (inside the Nuns room) starts saying...wait I hear someone walking around OUTSIDE!!!  Ok...we are on the second floor and he is sitting by the window so if HE is hearing something they would have to be on the roof.  Now, being on the roof is not so far fetched.  There was a doorway leading to the rooftop so that the patients and doctors could get some fresh air.

He jumped up and started looking out the window.  Now....don't forget at the same time I am STILL hearing footsteps coming down the hall.  Mike puts his hand on the ledge of the window to brace himself to look outside.  Now, part of the window was broke out so we would be able to hear if there were someone on the roof.  Mike just kept saying.....I CAN HEAR THEM!!!! SOMEONE  IS WALKING UP HERE!!!!  He just kept looking around but could not see anything!!!  After about 5 minutes of total activity..... it just stopped.  The footsteps in the hallway and the footsteps in on the roof.

At the end of the night, there were only three of us still standing.  And I might say....not standing to well....we were cold and tired as it was 5:00 in the morning.  It was just Deak, Chris and myself left.  Finally we decided to call it a night or day I guess you would say....Deak and Chris were outside loading the car.  I was way in the back of the hospital ALL ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!  Thanks guys!!!!  Anyway, I was packing up some equipment and I could hear voices and footsteps coming down the hallway.  AGAIN...pitch black.  I just assumed it was Chris and Deak.  But after a bit...I started wondering what was taking them so long to get to the room I was in.  Oh, and did I forget to add....which was the creepy operating room that has been said to be one of the most haunted rooms in the hospital????  I stepped out into the hall and yelled...."Chris......Deak" but no answer. So I just went about packing things up again and AGAIN............I can hear people talking and what sounded like walking up and down the hallway.  Ok......at this point.......I have had enough!!!  I'm tired, sleepy and cold and my BRAVE has left the building!!!  I'm all ALONE in this VERY dark....VERY CREEPY abandon hospital!  I grab my flashlight and some how mustard up enough courage to walk down the lonnnnngggg hallway by myself.  The whole time saying.......Ok...Beck.....put on your big girl shoes.....and get the heck out of here!!!!!!!!!!!!!  And that's just what I did!!!! LOL

Ok....below are a couple of videos.  The first one is me taking some video before night fall.  I am all alone........AGAIN(LOL) just walking around the outside of the hospital.  Be sure and pay close attention to the end.....not the BIG.....BLACK.....SCARY BUZZARD that was watching my every move...but notice in one of the windows that it seems to have a face or figure appear and then disappear.  hhhhuuummm

This is the flashlight session that was conducted down in the basement.  Sorry the video is not to good because it was soooo dark and it was also taken with a cell phone.  But thank you Rebeka Black for sharing your video with us.

I want to give a big SHOUT OUT to the BEST TEAM EVER!!!!  And to all our guests that took time out of the busy weekends to come along with us and play with the ghosts. :)

DOES THE WORD "SLAUGHTER" MEAN ANYTHING TO YOU??? CHECK OUT BOBBY MACKEY'S!!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and I hope you all have a safe and happy New Year!

Here is a story of Bobby Mackey's Music World in Kentucky.  You want evil, murder, blood and just DOWN RIGHT SCARY!!!!!!!  Check out this place....

This establishment is purported to be haunted. Management is NOT responsible and cannot be held liable for actions of any ghost/spirits on these premises.”
It’s not the sign you expect to see when you first enter a nightclub, but if you find yourself reading that sign in a nightclub in Wilder, Kentucky, you will have entered what some call the Devil’s Gate.
Bobby Mackey’s Music World is said to be the most haunted nightclub/ honky-tonk bar in America. The building was a former slaughterhouse in the 1800’s, and tales of murder, suicide and satanic rituals have haunted this place for years.
The oldest of the ghosts that haunt Bobby Mackey’s originate in one of the most horrific murders in America. When a young pearlwoman named Pearl Bryan made her way to Cincinnati, she was hoping to marry the man whose baby she had just discovered she was carrying. The man’s name was Scott Jackson, a former dental student. He and Pearl had been introduced by Pearl’s cousin, William Woods. They hit it off immediately, and that summer, their friendship blossomed. It was only after Jackson left for Cincinnati that Pearl made her discovery. She confided in her cousin, who wrote to Scott Jackson to inform him of the problem. Jackson arranged for an abortion in Cincinnati and then sent for Pearl.  Pearl arrived at Cincinnati Grand Central Station on January 28th 1896, and was met by Scott Jackson and a friend of his she had never met, Alonzo Wailing. Jackson and Wailing had met in dental school some years prior.
Two days later, on a cold and foggy morning, a man by the name of John Hewing was cutting across a field at Highland Avenue and Alexander Pike in Fort Thomas. The property belonged to Hewing’s employer. As he walked, he stumbled upon a woman lying on the ground. In later interviews, Hewing stated that he “didn’t know if she was drunk or dead, lots of woman from town used to bring solders from post. It was a lonely secluded field. A lot of women were drunk.” Hewing told his employer about the woman in the field. The employer sent Hewing to get a nearby deputy sheriff, while other men set out to see whether the woman had awakened and perhaps left. They found her still lying there. When they took a closer look, they saw signs of a struggle and a pool of blood at her feet. They turned her over and pulled her dress down to reveal that she was headless.
Officials searched the area for her head to no avail. Bloodhounds tracked the scent that to a nearby reservoir. Officials drained the reservoir, but the woman’s head was never found. The body was taken to Newport where an autopsy was performed, which determined that the woman was pregnant and found cocaine in her stomach. It was believed at the time that cocaine could be used to induce a miscarriage. Four days later, the body was identified as that of Pearl Bryan via a manufacturer’s number on one of her shoes, which led to a shoe store and then to Pearl’s family. Police discovered letters exchanged by Scott Jackson and Pearl’s cousin, and Jackson was arrested. Alonzo Wailing was arrested soon after. Upon his arrest, Jackson accused Wailing of the murder, and Wailing in turn blamed Jackson, claiming that Jackson’s medical skills were more inept than he had first thought and that he had only been involved with trying to abort Pearl’s baby.
Jackson (left) and Walling (right)
Jackson (left) and Waling (right)
So what went wrong? How did Pearl end up headless in a field? Modern folklore says Scott Jackson and Alonzo Wailing were part of the occult group that used the abandoned slaughterhouse nearby. Perhaps the attempt to abort Pearl’s baby suffered complications, and she died of an overdose of cocaine, but why did they remove her head? Some say they used her head as a blood sacrifice to the devil by throwing it in the old well in the basement of the slaughterhouse. The well washed out to the nearby lake–the same lake to which the bloodhounds tracked her scent. Could this be the explanation for Pearl Bryan’s missing head?
On May 27th, 1897, on what some described as a perfect spring day, Scott Jackson and Alonzo Wailing were scheduled to hang for the crime of murdering Pearl Bryan. They were hanged together, a little after 9 a.m. As they stood on the trap door waiting for it to open, they cursed Pearl Bryan, blaming her for their deaths. A moment later, the trap door opened and the pair dropped and hung there until dead.
But why do Pearl Bryan, Scott Jackson and Alonzo Wailing still haunt Bobby Mackey’s? Could there be some affinity between Pearl’s spirit and the building? Or is, perhaps, her head still somewhere undiscovered in that place? Could it be that the evil pair of Jackson and Wailing are cursed to stay in the place of their deaths because they are afraid to cross over?
For years, the building stood empty of the living, with only the ghosts of the past to populate it. The satanic worshipers were long gone; during the trial of Jackson and Wailing, the group had been exposed and its members feared attacks from the community and either changed their ways or moved on. The building reopened as a speakeasy in the 1920’s. During this time, a number of murders took place there, and so it closed down, only to reopen in the 1930’s as a nightclub. But tragedy struck the building yet again. A dancehall dancer named Johanna was carrying on a secret relationship with a singer named Robert Randall. She became pregnant, and the pregnancy was soon impossible to conceal. Five months into the pregnancy, Johanna’s father found out and had Robert murdered. Johanna found out her father was behind Robert’s death, and so she poisoned him and then killed herself in the basement of the building, near a now-sealed well.
The current owner of the building, country singer Bobby Mackey, is a complete skeptic about the strange goings on associated with it, even though he himself is part of them. There is a railway track behind the building, and Bobby has said the same track runs through his hometown, perhaps subconsciously drawing and connecting him to the place. Another strange event in Bobby’s life happened when he was a few days old: Bobby’s mother had originally named him Randy Mackey but something had come over her, and she renamed him Robert Randall Mackey. Was this a premonition of one of the ghosts that haunts the nightclub he would later own? Did the evil that lurks in Mackey’s nightclub attach itself to him at a young age? Perhaps. When Bobby and his wife first saw the building, he fell in love with it instantly. His wife, Janet, just as instantly had an uneasy feeling of an unwelcoming presence. She claims to have seen and heard weird things, and even smelled rose perfume near the basement area. Could this have been Johanna warning Janet of what was to come? Janet soon felt something swirl around her and then wrap around her waist. It lifted her up and dropped her back down. She ran for the stairs, but felt a force push her back down and shout at her to “get out, get out.” But almost the strangest part of the story is that, like Pearl and Johanna before her, Janet was five months pregnant at the time.
After this attack, many more staff members came forward with stories of weird smells, unaccountable noises, and being attacked by unseen forces. Carl Lawson, an employee of Bobby Mackey’s, was the caretaker. His tale of Bobby Mackey’s is one that would stay with him forever.
Bobby Mackey's basement and well
Bobby Mackey’s basement and well
Carl was known as a bit of a loner. He lived in an apartment above the bar, and he was constantly plagued by voices and demonic forces. Sensing the evil around him, Carl started to read up on the lore of the building. Learning the building was once a place of devil worship, he set about sprinkling holy water on the dug-up well known as the Devil’s Gate. Carl believed this would calm some of the spirits, but it had the exact opposite effect. It seemed to provoke the demonic spirits, and soon they claimed Carl for their own: Carl Lawson became possessed. A pastor named Glen Cole was called in, and he spent six hours trying to rid Carl of the demon. Video evidence shows Carl possessed by a demon. In a strange, growling voice, he claims that, “if he left then we all gotta leave.” We will never know what this meant. In 2012, Carl Lawson passed away at the age of 53.
In 2008, the season premiere of Ghost Adventures featured a visit to Bobby Mackey’s. The lead investigator, Zak Bagans, said he got three scratches on his back when he was standing in the Devil’s Gate because he had provoked the evil spirits and demonic forces that had possessed Carl years before. When the Ghost Adventures guys returned for a follow-up episode in 2010, they were able to pick up electronic voice phenomena (evidence of paranormal voices) but found themselves and their families threatened. Even Zak found himself near possession, and the guys have never returned.
But what draws so many people back to Bobby Mackey’s?  Could Bobby himself be a reincarnation of the spirit of murdered singer Robert Randall? Or are the things down in Wilder, Kentucky best left alone?

THE HAUNTED STANLEY HOTEL-SEE THE SPIRIT CHILDREN AT PLAY

See a small part of our Stanley Hotel visit.  What do you think?  Is this real or is there some other explanation?  I would LOVE to get your opinion on this.  I tried and tried and could not duplicate this phenomenon.

I can't wait to go through all the evidence from the overnight at the Stanley!!!  It will take me sometime so be patient.  Hope you enjoyed this small little video.

POLTERGEIST ACTIVITY IN 1965-REAL OR NOT???

Even in 1965 Poltergeist activity was being filmed.

In 1965 there were strange happenings occurring inside the small house of Marcia Howells in Swansea, Wales. The mother and her family had been tormented by an unseen force that pushed and tossed their furniture around. Not knowing what to do, the Howells called in the local police to assist in the matter. However the police quickly found themselves rendered helpless against the unexplained phenomena that was trashing the Howells’ home.

Like most true poltergeist cases, the happenings inside the Rhondda street house abruptly stopped and no logical explanation was ever found.
Poltergeist activity is said to not be induced by “ghosts”, rather many parapsychologists believe that psychokinetic energy is to blame. A force of energy that has not been yet proven real but has been observed in the wild by trained professionals. Anyone else remember Nina Kulagina?

DEMONS HATE ROSES!!!

So, in honor of all of US that watched the Bachelorette this week and watched Kaitlyn give the Final Rose to Shawn, I thought I would post about ghosts and roses.  I am not only a ghost hunter but a reality show junkie!  I know....I'm not proud of it but it is....what it is. LOL

Now, the video below is not mine and I have no affiliate with the people who recorded the video other than I thought it was interesting and you guys might enjoy it.

I am going to confess that before I started researching something to do with Roses and Ghosts I had not ever heard that Demons DO NOT like ROSES!!!  Have you????  Well, from what I have found out is that Demons will burn roses because they represent "purity" and "goodness".  Also, once a demon is gone, people begin to smell roses.
Below is what livescifi13 posted about their video:

This is video excerpt is from Day 2 of the Sallie House LIVE Investigation.  A lot of people asked why we had numerous roses on set, well back when the previous tenants lived in the house they reported that a rose that was placed on one of the counters’, and curiously was found burnt from the inside out.   We speculated that due to the possible demonic entity that we which seems to make its self known every time were in the house, we held a rose during the session to see if it would prompt any negative responses.  Upon further we research we also discovered that roses are often smelled after a demonic entity is exorcised from its host. Could this be why there were such negative responses during the session?

Anyway, love to hear your feedback about this subject.  So, send me an email and let me know what you think.  Hope everyone is having a great week!  Until next time....

THE EXTREMELY HAUNTED MCPIKE MANSION-A FAMILY THAT LIVES TOGETHER...STAYS TOGETHER...EVEN AFTER DEATH!!!

I can't wait!!!  Headed to Chicago in a couple days and off to the American Ghost Society Conference with our affiliate White Dog Paranormal and close friends Anthony and Michele!   We are doing an overnight investigation at the EXTREMELY haunted McPike Manson!!!!  You can Youtube and Google tons about this mansion.  I visited the house several years ago, so that I would do a re-post of my experience.  Not to mention this is one of the places that I believe to have captured two of the most awesome apparitions ever!!!...

THE HAUNTED GAINESVILLE COURTHOUSE-REPOST

Hi everyone!!  Hope your Easter was wonder and you found lots of Easter Eggs!!!! lol  I have done a re-post on one of my favorite video's that was submitted by a follower.   I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!!!

I would like to thank Kim Ward for submitting this video for us to enjoy.  Kim wrote me and ask me to take a look at a video that was taken by a friend.  This lady took this video with her phone on Veteran's Day inside the Gainesville Courthouse that night. She was standing inside the courthouse on the 3rd floor watching the fireworks out the window. Her sister was standing beside her and right before the "blue" light comes across the screen, she said her phone (not the one taking the video) took two pics and her thumb wasn't even on the phone. They said they saw it in real life then went back and watched the video and saw it on there too.

I have to say.....this is ONE of the MOST IMPRESSIVE Video's I have ever watched of a orb in motion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I'm sure you guys will think so to after you see it.  I have watched it several times and each time I am just a little more amazed!

I am trying to research hauntings at this courthouse, but have not found to much about "hauntings" here.  But this building has tons of history and many stories, including when the courthouse burned down, so I feel like there are so many possibilities that spirits are connected to this place.

I would love to hear from anyone that knows any stories on this courthouse.  Kim says there are many stories going around, about hearing laughter and even an incident that a lady felt she was pushed down the stairs.

I can't wait to get up to Gainesville, and hopefully talk to many of the people that work there and hear their experiences first hand.

Below is some interesting information that I thought you guys might enjoy reading about the courthouse.

Here is the link so that you can see this AMAZING VIDEO of an Orb in motion.o

Thanks again Kim!!!

"The current 1911 Cooke County courthouse replaced the 1878 courthouse which burned in 1909. The chief architects, Lang and Witchell, designed similar looking courthouses in Johnson County and Scurry County (later remodeled) around the same time. According to legend, the first Cooke County courthouse, a log structure built in 1850, was destroyed by a steer trying to escape a swarm of flies." - Terry Jeanson, June 27, 2009

Cooke County Courthouse
Settlement of the area now known as Cooke County began in late 1845. The county was created by the State Legislature in 1848 and named for William G. Cooke, Republic of Texas Quartermaster General and a participant in the Battle of San Jacinto. Land for a county seat was donated by Mary E. Clark, and the new town was Gainesville in honor of U.S. Army General Edmund Pendleton Gaines.

There have been four courthouses located on this site. The first, a small log structure, was erected in 1850. It was replaced in 1853 by a one-story frame building which was later destroyed by fire. The third courthouse, a two-story limestone structure, was completed in 1880 and destroyed by fire in 1909.

Designed by the Dallas architectural firm of Lang and Witchell, construction of this Beaux Arts style courthouse began in 1910. The Gainesville firm of Garrett and Collins served as supervising architects, and M. P. Kelly of Gainesville was the contractor. The impressive brick and limestone building features terra cotta ornamentation, eagle brackets, and a copper-clad dome. Clocks were added to the dome in 1920 as a World War I memorial. The courthouse is an important North Texas Landmark.

Recorded Texas Historic Landmark - 1988.
